They're a piece of crap. Cheap paper cones, musically dead... I've had them at my home connected to Yamaha RX-A2070. I was very disappointed. Had them returned and replaced with bookshelves Focal Aria 906, for the exact same price which sounds why more musical and have an even better bass response! I know Dali makes high-end speakers, but not these cheap home theater low fi speakers they call Zensor... Stay away!
Which sound better? Zensor 5 or Zensor 3?
I currently run a pair of zensor 3. Is it worth upgrading to the 5s for more bass?

Bi-wire is just nonsense anyway. Only in specialist systems is there a Benefit to Bi-wiring. Bi-amping with AV receivers is just nonsense as well.
I've auditioned these at a HiFi specialist. They are fantastic value for money and give a really good sound without being too picky on where you put them in the room unlike some speakers. Buying a pair tomorrow!
My tweeters alone are bigger than those silly looking bass units! Listen people. The only way you'll ever get good base is not from these modern column speakers alone with 5 or 6 inch drivers. You need either a subwoofer to compensate or get some good old fashioned large three way speakers with a friggin 10 or 12 inch woofer inside.
Hmm.. WhatHiFi claims, I quote "Lack certainty in the bass" and "Could describe low frequencies more rigorously"... I was really sold on to this speaker, until I read that review :-(
Am using a pioneer vsx 522 on them.. Is it a correct match.. please help.!!! Pioneer specs - 150Watts at 6 Ohms... 80 watts at 8 Ohms.. WIll this combo damage the speakers???

Would these speakers go well with a Technics SU-A808 Amp?....I've been 'umming and Arrring' over which speakers to pair with this amp for a while now and keep getting different opinions.
Glad you like them. I had the BX5 in the past and they were very good speakers. They can sound too bright but nothing that a well matched receiver isn't able to help correcting. one advice, if you have the surround back terminals available you should biwire them as they sound even better that way. I did it and it made a very noticeable difference. Happy listening :)

Id just like to thank you for helping me decide on a speaker. I have recieved my BX6 5.1 system today and im well happy! They not only look the part but they sound the part too! Amazing! :)

Ive looked at the BX6 5.1 and they seem nice. Ive found a site that do them on finance, can pay over 6 months interest free.I think ill go for that option, i dont want to 4rk out for a set of speakers then have 2 upgrade in a few years. Im updating frm a JBC SUB-300 Simply Cinema, its about 13 years old! Been ok til now but its started buzzing and stuff, its probably just the capacitors drying out but i really cnt b bothered to fix it, i just want an upgrade :) The rx6's are out my league though
Hi Ben, why are you considering the BX2 and not the BX5? BX2 are standmounts and wont give you the same bass output and scale as the MA Bronze floorstander. The BX5s sound great! Doubt you wouldnt like them. If you have the budget you could go for the RX6 from the silver series instead but if you dont the Bronzes are great speakers for the money. The bass are not so large as to seem only the movement of the membrane. Definitely not bad but the jamo s 628 have a clearer sound and more bass.
