Been thinking about trying big sleeps inks, I use dynamic triple black now
Have you tried nocternal lining black yet. So far my favorite, but my big sleeps just came in today actually so havent got to use ill update either tonight or tomorrow night and let you know I got the pelican bay and killer bee with the blue magic set. But that nocternal flows amazing goes in the skin great and stays dark

I just ordered a small bottle of killer bee ink after watching this. I've been using Zuper Black- love how dark it is but not the best for lining and is very goopy. PLEASE do a video sometime reviewing colored inks🙂

Oh gooooddd sooo yesterday i finished a mandala on myself using Intenze and the linining was sooo tricky, had to go over them again and it just doubled the process. It's so thick I called the seller and complained that something was wrong with it when I first bought it!😂 Clogs the tip as well ugh... It's black but too tricky for me
Did a black ink test using 10 top brands blindly tattooing 10 silhouette butterfly’s on in the same area on the same person. Intenze Zuper, Nocturnal, Dynamic, Gorilla Stupid Black, Eternal Maxx Black, Allegory, Kuro Sumi, Solid Black Label, and Moms, Big Meas. Scored them in 3 categories Workability, Darkness, and Healing 2 years later Allegory is still the darkest and it scored a 9/10 in workability and a 9/10. Intenze Zuper scored 2nd and Solid 3rd

Can you do a comparison of dynamic black and dynamic triple black. Or has anyone used both. Which would u say is darker. I do know that dynamic is known for it being thin but really dark

I use Dynamic for lining and zuper black for shading/black work. Good combo that’s worked great for years. Going to have to try big sleeps now though

Hello Bro, I have hp 1515 printer and 678 black cartridge. After refilling black cartridge 4-5 times, now printer is not accepting it. Cartridge is perfectly new. But according to printer, cartridge page print limit has been exhausted. Now, how to reset cartridge ?

haven't found a black ink more satisfying than Take Sumi. All my pens write with take sumi like a dream.... that ink is both dark and lubed to perfection
Ive just ordered some Noodlers Heart of Darkness so I'm glad to see that it comes across as one of the darkest inks you tested. I did see some black carbon ink today which I was going to put in my Boston Safety Pen but they were all out of bottles. I can get some Diamine Jet Black. Thanks for a very interesting video. Other one I use a lot is Monteverde Midnight Black.
Inks look much darker on the Tamoa River paper. Better colour saturation.

how was the bleedthrough on the other side? it would be really great if you did that too, because for things like writing in journals where you want to utilise both sides of the paper actually being able to read what you've written is super helpful! Thanks for this aside from seeing the backs this was really useful! I'm swaying towards dyamine - i've heard that noodlers is thicker and clogs the pens up. plus i'm a geek and love that dyamine have been going since the 1860s.

I like blacks and grey blacks. My favourite is the Diamine for black and Schaeffer Skrip black for a really good shading grey-black.

Very nice and comprehensive job. Yeah. Amazing penmanship. Likely aided by having to write under the camera, a common challenge. I think that doing a very solid crosshatch on the left, so those stacked up on top of each other would make the comparison more effective. Further: the pens are not identical as each feed and nib will perform differently. Anyone that is into pens much would agree to that. Close...but in no way “identical”. At this level of presentation I doubt it makes much difference though. Again...very good presentation. One major ink reviewer does her writing samples beforehand which allows her to focus on her descriptions and comparisons. That would have cut the time of this thing in half, or more, which would have been good.
The Aurora Black seemed to be the best flowing although that could also be a slight difference in the pen and i wonder if this had an affect on the appearance. All that being said though if you factor in value for money then you gotta go noodler's or Diamine there is not enough difference in the more expensive inks to make them worth the extra base on these tests at least, would you agree with that?

I live in Canada and most places on ebay really rip off by increasing the price (for example Camlin bottles are sold at $5 each even though they are like....20 Rupees max). I was wondering if I could tell one of my relatives to just send it to me for cheap.
