Which is good NVR or DVR?
How is the noise level? I read that Dahua nvr's have a exterme high noise level or is that only on the models with 2 fans (power supply and case)?

hi, because the nvr loses the ip camera address when the current falls, 220v, it does not find it automatically, i have to re-register again ?? thanks! and true it is not original dahua but an ip must not lose it.

How can I lock a certain channel ( e.g: channel 4) , but keep the other 15 channel display on the screen. The one channel has to be under a password lock and only someone with right certifications can open and view the feed Is it possible. Thanks

Cat it use without INTERNET. Just swich on camera ON and see picture on monitor of this camara. Fuck the IP cods and complication. and huge network unexplained complication. I don`t know nothing about IP Wan Lan and other to Me, absolutely unnecessary things. It seem i must to hire and IT mechanic man and pay him his time only to see anything on this recorder. and cameras. on just simple my fucking mionitor. I have not internet i have only monitor ant electric power.

Hi, I have an NVR 5216 and I have purchased IPC-HDW4631C-A cameras, but some cameras tell me, invalid user name or password, what should I do to make them work, thanks in advance.
This could have been so much more helpful to those of us who have purchased these products. Unfortunately the camera pointing predominantly to the bottom left of the screen prevents us from seeing what menu selections are activated. Also Oscar clearly understands the menus and therefore clicks his way through at an accelerated rate which is not helpful for clients trying to understand their new system.
