Even Harman-Kadron speakers on QOSMIO or LEGION laptops are 2.1 2W speakers "tuned" by Harman Kadron, whatever that means. What I had to do in the end was to open the RealTek HD audio software and in the sound effects settings, I selected "powerful" and then there was a significant change in sound quality, even at low volume. It didn't show in EQUALISER terms what it changed, but it was better sound thereafter.

I just ordered this is and I was going to get the T20 Series 2, but I think they are unavailable, so I got the T15 instead and so far I'm happy with what I bought from this review. Thank you for the review! I'm coming from the Edifier R1280T to these, I hope they can "standup" to the Music I listen to as my $100 Speakers do.

I am comparing Creative T15 with T12. Most of their functions are similar except for their sizes: T12 is smaller than T15. Have you tried T12? Between these two models, which is better according to your opinion after researching their every single specifications?Many Thanks!
I'd recommend taking a look at the Pebble Plus from creative, i have the normal Pebble without a sub, they're little and cheap but man the sound quality is amazing for the price. The normal Pebble has passive radiators on the back of them and give decent bass. I bought em for curiousity as they're highly praised.

I bought them for 15 pounds from a guy. In box hardly used very good sound best money I ever spent. Really good sound
I'm breaking in a new pair of the T20's. Not terrible but also not worth the $70 I paid. I'm on the fence as to keeping them. Bass has a big hump at 125 hz, and vocals (as in singing or movie dialog) are recessed. Can be improved with software EQ, but not eliminated. Decently loud and clear at near field up to about 6 feet, beyond that they lose any real impact. Forget filling an average room with clarity. On a positive note, they have decent build quality, look nice and have a small footprint on my desk. The front volume and tone controls are a nice feature, but as others have noted, the bass and treble controls have little effect on the sound, and the volume knob has minor effect until about 50%, then a LOT of effect with a small movement from 12 o'clock to 1 or 2 o'clock.
I got noise complaints from these speakers. :|

T10 are excellent for the price. I use them up at work. At home I have T20's. I prefer the T20 for clarity and higher head room {28w vs 10w}.
We love Creative speakers in our household. We've got the T10, T20 II & T40 II in different rooms....

Hi there! I got them to work and disappointed. My 32 inch tv has amazing sound and I got these to add to that for my racing games. Well they work now but the tv sounds mutes when they are plugged in. Sound is weak compared to tv. Why does the tv sound ho off?
Just found the answer. Need to go to control panel and set them as default speakers.
I plugged the green input from the speaker to my laptop headphone jack but I’m still not getting and sound out of the speakers. There is no other place to plug it in other than headphones on my laptop. What’s going on. Do I need to go into settings and do something there??
