I was thinking that Speed ram was for lightfast CPUs So when having low Memory speed for Fast CPUs will result in CPUs not using their full potential. I still don't know if is true or not.

Ram speed still matters! If it didn't we all be using the same speed ram and they wouldn't bother selling higher freq ram for a premium, this video is a bad review and only used one game as a benchmark which is a major failure. Tsk tsk Linus. Doing one test and making a judgement call. I figured this is an old video from 2013. Perhaps remake this video and compare using multiple benchmark tests. The actual fps performance varies from game to game depending on the difference in freq. It all depends on how a game utilizes ram as well.

One of your best videos ever made. this I realized when my PC 1333 mhz ram killed my new 1600Mhz ram because it's internal speed were way faster! way more frames in games on the 1333mhz ram Sector 5 !!! That freaked me out! Learn as you go.. I guess.. I bought DDR3 2400Mhz KINGSTON BEAST 32G For another board I am waiting to check and see if it makes a difference .

Well I turned off the write cache thing and my computer got in to a blue screen loop after rebooting. It did the exact opposite of what it was supposed to do.
I have same configuration to you with 3770k and i push to buse speed at 2000mhz 10-11-10-27 - (2XDIM 1866"hyperx" + 2XDIM 1600"ballistix" - TOTAL 16GB) - I thing I can improve it !

my ram was at 1600 before i watched this vid and tried to push to 1800 . changed the voltage to 1.6 timings down 1 to get the 9 9 9 27 and now gonna test if this is better hope so , thanks for the video very nice

3570k @ 4.7ghz. Corsair vengeance lp 16gig @ 1.6v 1800. Is there any point pushing it any harder versus degradation
Managed to get 2000-10-10-10-30 1.6v have not tried any lower.. really didnt enjoy rebooting five thousand times. What to try next? This seems to be stable on posting and starting windows, also benchmark in maxxmem2. Slightly increase overall. Decrease in latency.

i managed to boot g.skill at 2133 1.5v and 2200 1.6, left it at 1.6 2133. Very nice little boost
We can just go to BIOS and use Jumpfree Configuration for those using Asus motherboards. I've OC'ed my Athlon ii x2 from 3.1 to 3.31 (7%) and 1066mhz ram to 1600mhz (found out the RAM isn't running on its full bandwidth 1333.
