I have ryzen 5 3600 with x470 msi gaming plus max. I had 2 x 8 gb corsair lpx 3200mhz which i can turn on xmp to get 3200mhz. I started using premiere pro to edit 4k movies and the ram wasnt sufficient, it kept freezing, so i purchased another set of the same ram, making it 32gb, 4 x 8gb. It wouldnt post if xmp is on trying to make all 4 ram slots to 3200mhz. It will only post if i set it to 2133mhz. My question is should i run 4 x 8gb ram at 2133mzh or should i pick up 2 x 16gb ram as i know if using two slots for ram it can reach 3200mhz. Much appreciate a response as i cannot find any answers online.

Guys make sure the exact RAM you get is on the motherboard's QVL! Don't be like me and buy a "Corsair Vengeance LPX 32gb 3600mhz" (CMK32GX4M4*D*3600C18) only to find it is incompatible so you have to send it back and buy "Corsair Vengeance LPX 32gb 3600mhz" (CMK32GX4M4*B*3600C18).

well the Micron was on saleee man...and that is a Banshee/screaminggg 3600mhz and beyond. but yeah theres ALOT with like an LPX kit.
