Zotac GeForce GTX 980 Ti ArcticStorm review bitte
DANKE!
The QVL on the RAM side and motherboard side is very, very important. If it's not on the list, then it's not worth getting if you want top performance right away. This came in very handy when picking out the ram I used on my system, and it was worth the time and effort.
I ve got G.Skill Ripjaws V F4-3200C16-8GVKb worrked perfect on my MSI B350 pc mate or Z490 mpg gaming plus (Y) so now i want to get 16 gb more and i have to choose between g skill or corsair for the z490 .hard to choose :)))

This is an excellent video. I'm only 7 minutes in and I have so much more knowledge than I had before this video.

This is just a great video. Thank you !
The 3600 mhz cost me 4 dollars more Then the 3200 mhz so i pick 3600
he used to make such good videos
I don’t recommend buying Corsair Vengeance Pro, one of my sticks was dead, causing bsod and crashes. Apparently many other people experienced the same
DDR4 is finally affordable, 16gb 2666Mhz XLR8 brand for about $80
I just downloaded some ram
Sir, I need help! I got Ryzen 5 2600 + 4x4GB of vengeance 2666mhz + mobo MSI b350 gaming pro carbon, the issue that I am experiencing every day when I turned on my computer my monitor had so many lines in different colors I couldn't even see the letters when I am typing my Password it takes a while at-least 10 minutes
Does HyperX fury ram work on a AMD processor?
I am an electronics engineer. I work for the R&D team with AT&T. I absolutely LOVE how much you know about this, and that you share that knowledge

my question is are there spesific things i need to focus on when buying ram like is it compatible with only the intel cpu or a amd ryzen cpu or is every ram compatible with both cpu´s
The kit ran at 2666 stable on stock timings and voltage / got it stable on 2733 with stock timings and 1.220v
I have two 8gb sticks of corsair ram 3600mhz but in bios lock in 2133 in xmp is 3600mhz i have ryzen 5 3400g now i go 2933mhz and 1.22 voltage and my pc not start at 1.25 was blue screen somebody help?

i overclock my cpu to 4.3 but if i overclock my ram will not work it will crash i think
This corsair ram is so impressive. I got 16gb 2400 mhz and boost it to 3066 and damn just insane. I've tried to put it on 3200 then it crashed but did the hios reset and lower it to 3066 and it's fine on that speed.
sir my board is EX A320M and i can't oc that exact ram, its just 2x4 whenever i try to set it to 2400mhz the system wont boot at all, if i restart it boots fine but its still 2133mhz...
I have four 8GB sticks of lpx 3000 overclocked to 3466 at 1.36 volts they can achieve 3866 stable in prime95 memory test 28 gigs allocated to it But are very hot
Man I can´t thank you enough, I have a much better benchmark now. And you looks like the great musician, Peter Gabriel, best wishes !
mines stuck in 2133 even though I put XMP profile on my gigabyte motherboard...
I want to make g.skill trizent z 2133 mhz to 2800 mhz. It would be better to give how much voltage.( g.skill trizent z 8 gb 3200 mhz. 1 stick ram)
Sir,can i overclock Corsair Vengeance LPX 4GB DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz to 3000MHz and how much need voltage i keep.
Hello friend, I'm from LATAM , excuse my english pls. I need your help ,I have just updated my pc from ddr3 to ddr4 and I had not come across this before, change my ram, processor and motherboard, my configuration is : ryzen 1600 af (up to a maximum of 2933 mhz in ram memory according to the amd page), motherboard: asrock b450m pro4 (maximum 2933 mhz for processors with zen + architecture (1600 af is included in this group), 3200 for zen 2 I think , i got this ram : corsair vengeance lpx 3200mhz 2x8gb = 16gb. The rams memories when you turn them on for the first time and without configuring it in the bios, go to 2133 mhz which I already knew. When trying to activate the xmp profile from the bios, I tried the only default setting xmp profile to 3200 and it did not work, I ONLY lowered the frequency to 2933 and the pc turned on to windows and everything was fine although I turned it off immediately because I don't know if it is correct to leave The same latencies and voltages that has the xmp profile for 3200 , for prevention I preferred to leave them at 2133 until I clarified my doubt which is that, just lowering the frequency to 2933 is fine or should I change the voltage to lower and the latencies? for 2133 in the bios says 1.2v , for 3200 xmp profile says 1.35v and also the latencies change , I did not test in games or anything to see if the ram worked perfectly at 2933, it just turned on the pc without problems but I immediately turned it off, I would appreciate your help and thank you very much in advance.
Im on a b450m pro4 and a ryzen 2600x with corsair vengeance lpx 3200MHz running at 2133, i tries putting an xmp profile and setting voltage to 1.4V and set frequency to 2933 and it didnt work it just stays at 2133 wtf do i do
Yeah I have 2666 LPX and went to 3200mhz as that's the sweet spot for my Ryzen 2600... Surprised at how stable it is!?
Makes me wonder if they're just making DDR4, testing it, seeing what hold up frequency the best, and then slapping higher XMPs on the ram that is most stable?
Anyway... Basically payed for 2666 and got 3200mhz
They are just so bad. I have 3000C16 and still are no good for ryzen. I wait for my G.SKILL. Corsair are bad just for games.
Hello, I doubt you’ll see this but,
I was thinking of over clocking my Corsair RGB ram, rated at 2666Mhz, to 3000Mhz. How should I do this, as I don’t want to blow up my PC
My rated ram speed out of the box was 3600mhz. I managed to bump it up to 4000mhz just by increasing the voltage to 1.4 volts. Me personally I wouldn’t go past that voltage depending on what kind of ram you have. Thanks again for this wonderful video!
Hey, I have an Intel i5-9400F, and im not sure what my motherboard is because my PC was prebuilt. However, I imagine its pretty decent as well because I also have a GTX 1660 and it works great. I have 2 x 4GB RAM sticks, so 8 gigs in total. I want to get 2 8GB RAM sticks, specifically these in the video to replace my current ones. Do you think my PC would be able to handle the overclock to around 3000 mhz with the new sticks? Is there anything else I need to know? Please let me know, thank you!
Recently i bought 2x8gb ram 3200mhz on my msi a320m board
When i put single stick it can run on 3200mhz (xmp enabled)
But when i put both sticks it only runs at 2133mhz (xmp enabled) please help
I identify as 4000MHz RAM but like most things that identify as something else, I’m only really 2666MHz!
Few videos I've watched say you need same model rams giving out same Hz otherwise the larger performer runs only, am I wrong cause I didnt know rams got complicated on large gb I've only just upgraded ny gaming rig after years
0:22 guy just scammed
I was a bit unlucky with my 9900k and now I can't go over 2666. Sometimes you just have to be lucky.
Can someone help me please, I have h310m pro d plus board and i5 9400 i want to buy 2x8gb rams but i don't have any knowledge about frequency and stuff..
Actually im a bit worried about any kind of possible perf upgrade of my pc.
GTX 1080 Ti (stock mode cooling / non OC)
i5 4690k (air cooled 4,5k OC - 3,3 baseline)
2x 4gb RAM 1600 MHZ baseline - oc to 2400 MHZ
Plextor SSD 128GB system (bought at 2016 or sth like that)
1tb 970 SAMSUNG EVO m.2 ssd
Z97 97 MSI Gaming mobo
My concern is the RAM upgrade. Mobo does suppport DDR 3 in oc mode up to 3300 MHZ frequency and i just can not find the package anywhere that has such speeds on them. Either 2x 4gb cause there is no 2x 8gb ddr3 ram with such capacity that i either know of or can buy.
What would be the best suitable upgrade? Trying to get the very same 2x 4gb ram from the same producent (current one is Kingston Hyperx dont remember exact model nr though not sure how to check it properly).
I currently own ryzen 5 3600, the ram i currently have is of 3000mhz, should i get the 3600Mhz? My needs are video and photo editing. Any help is appreciated
so adding an extra ram slot into my laptop wont speed up my laptop unless the ram is currently hitting 100% utilizing? what about dual channel then? when i have many chrome tabs open, like 20, my pc becomes slower tho, which part is bottlenecking then?
short answer yes
Got a Bm450 steel legend board.
My ram was running at 2k something, Boosted it to 3530, easy post.
Ram says it runs at 4400mhz. I’m about to see if I can boost with this.
This is before Dennis became a lunatic
So in other words even though Intel says that the NUC with an 11th gen i7 processor can use 3200Mhz RAM, PC shops selling them as a kit with 2666mhz RAM sticks are being perfectly reasonable because the difference is negligible?
Good point, Linus
I have a question : in your opinion in gaming go faster 32 2666mhz ram or 16gm 3200mhz?
I have 2666mhz ram and a friend sells me another 16 at half price do they have a few more fps in gaming or do I keep the money?
what determines the speed of the ram you need to buy, the motherboard or the processor? my mobo supports up to 1600mhz my processor supports up to 1333mhz.. thanks if someone replies...
4:04 when you're playing serious sam and hear a kamikaze
Linus how you feel about this intro 4 years later? still stand by it?
What's RGB??
Yes or No?
He didn’t hit it on his investment😂😂
