Hi Thanks for the review. I gotta ask, are the CPU and GPU connectors interchangable in this PSU? The labeling on the unit seems to imply that is the case... Can you clarify? Can I plug 2x8Pin to the CPU and 2x8Pin to the GPU at the same time? Do I just plug to any of the 8pin slots in the unit?

i bought my rm550x and doesn't have the velvet bag, i did some research and i found out corsair remove the bag cause of mole issue.....anybody know if this is true or mine was a open box...
Man how times changes eh. Been looking around for a psu settled either rmx or seasonic focus gold. Problem there's no stock and before they sold out they had risen to 200$ for 850w. Now my local store had a rmx 650w for 130$ so now I'm contemplating to just settle for that. But I fear it's not enough for 5600x and a 3080 or 90. But I guess the choise is either wait another 5 months until they get supply again for what I want or take 650w gamble...

just tried to buy directly from Corsair and not only was their no eta on delivery like most companies these days on the purchase page but I got an email after the purchase stating that their would be a shipping delay. I called back right away and asked that they cancel the order and they said NO!?? OMG I was so mad... I had just made the order and they cannot cancel? I told the guy that I will just call my bank then one way or the other this order is getting canceled! He did not care and still would not cancel the order. I had to call my bank and they took care of me. Thank god for my bank! Corsair made an enemy out of me today.
My RM750 has its fan spinning at maximum whenever my pc is on, and it's shooting out hot air. I think mine is defective.....

2020, and just bought this PSU today, it's funny as hell to hear Linus congratulating Corsair for having flat cables, which is standard today, I didn't know that in 2013 it wasn't standard.
Bought this which was...two times overkill probably, roughly 6 years ago, still chugging with no issue at all. Funny thing is I've always heard people talking about psu fan spin / noise and I could never really understand... Now I know why mine makes so little noise lol I simply bought it because it was huge :D
