This is the most beautiful PC case I've ever seen.
Can I buy a mesh front panel as an added accessory to install instead of the solid one which comes standard with this case? Oh well, I found an answer to my own question. There is an Obsidian Series™ 350D High Airflow Intake Kit for about $15 USD which makes more sense than the solid 350D Front Panel Aluminum Plate. Anyhow I leave the question with its answer here as a reference for others in youtube. Note that airflow intake kit for this case can only be found at Corsair website. Thank you very much for your review.
Waiting on corsair to refresh the obsidian series. Can you imagine a 350d with a tempered side panel, psu shroud and proper dust filters?
does the H110i GT fit on the top?
How's the noise level?
I don't know why,but I like him reviewing products outside.

The sag on that ASUS card... x_x
Classy video man.
What case has the best airflow? (Case that is not larger than the Corsair 350D though)
Your case video reviews are extremely good. High quality, detailed, helpful. I shall subscribe you as my appreciation.
Excellent review.
and another
Still got this case lol
I miss my old cases. I have owned Corsair (350d, Air 540, Air 240) and NZXT 349 blue.
I currently have this case and thought it's not perfect, it was far better than any case I've used before. I wish I'd gone on with the Obsidian 450 as now, 5 years later, I want to build using an ATX motherboard for a Ryzen Matisse system. What I primarily like about this case is the ease of access to the front filter. Our home is always dusty so leaning the filter very week or two is necessary. So many modern cases require removing the whole front panel. Since most are plastic with plastic retention pegs or tabs, I'm concerned with breakage due to frequent removal. This case you just give the top of the lower front panel a posh and it pops forward for removal. Filter is then easily removed for cleaning. Corsair has also been good keeping replacement parts for this model. I was even able to buy the high airflow panel which replaces the solid front irremovable panel for better cooling. I felt cable routing behind the motherboard tray was a bit tight but acceptable. Beyond that is just being nit picky! I am seriously considering finding an Obsidian 450 case for my new build unless I can finally stumble across another case where the front filter is so easy to clean.
when is corsair going to stop making cases with dvd drive bays, they are completely pointless.
Replying to an extremely old video, but I just wanted to say that I bought one of these in Oct 2013, but I went with the windowless version since I was going to be using it in the living room next to my TV, not just for games, but a lot of movies as well and I didn't want the interior lights reflecting off of the exterior around it. Anyway, downsizing from the monstrous 800D (LOL) that became my storage/retro system, it was a dream to work with for a smaller, but still high performance gaming PC. It's also extremely easy to transport from room to room or even taking with me on a trip out of town. In fact, I am about to build another new system and I am having a really hard time finding a case that is comparable, or better to this, so I might just reuse the one I already have...which is something I *never* do. It's not perfect however.
There are what I consider two very large problems (one of which isn't necessarily an issue with the design, but more like a defect in mine). 1) The front panel kind of sucks when picking the case up. While it stays on just fine normally, and is flush with the rest of the case, and also allows adequate airflow, it's too prone to "unclicking" and partially coming off before you've even finished moving it. But maybe I'm just clumsy, but I've never had a similar issue with any other case in two decades.
2) While my front dust filter does an excellent job of filtering, the one that came with my system was never perfectly flush. It bowed pretty bad in the center on either side...defeating the point of it. So from day one I've had to use a strip of electrical tape to keep it completely flat so that there are no open spaces. That has worked, but it's still annoying to have to remove the tape and reapply it every time I want to clean the filter. If I do end up reusing this case, I am going to end up buying a magnetic front filter that is specifically for this case from Demcifilter I think. Of course, I might have just gotten one that is defective and maybe most people that bought the 350D got one that was perfect.
Oh, and another thing (which hopefully Corsair has actually fixed by now): BOTH the 800D and this case had alignment problems with the GPU mounting bracket. On both of them I had to actually tug on the graphics cards (any of the six I own) to get them to properly align so as to lock the thumbscrews. This means that I have not had any of the graphics cards that I've owned since 2009 sitting flush in the PCI-E socket. They were always raised enough that you could clearly see the pins/contacts (whatever these are called). It's not caused a problem once, but it's still something to consider.
wait so can you put a dvd writer in this case or no
Good vid. Informative.
If I remove the drive cages for a radiator up front, is there anywhere else for them, or will I just have to make a place for them?
nice review
I got this case for $33
i use this case since years and i loooooove it
first time i saw this guy i asked to myself: 'what the fuck danny d doing here' lol
why he is using his shirt for opening the front part ??
This or define r2 mini?
THIS CAN FIT FOR MAXIMUS GENE VIII?
Will a 750ti and a Hyper t4 cpu cooler fit in this case?
will my cat fit in this case ? I'm planning on making a cat house and my overclocked cat needs good cooling ....
would a MSI Z170A M7 fit in this case?
will H110i fit in 350D?
Whats the dimensions of just the side pannel :D
Awesome review bro, I was planning on building an air cooled system on this case. Do you think a 160mm height Dark Rock 3 CPU air cooler will fit just fine on this case? Although this case have clearance for 160mm according to their website but im still in doubt. thnx in advance
good review...u r the only one who mention the measurement of the back side of the case...i try to find this measurement in each review to know if there is enough space for all my psu wire...btw thanks
Why do all reviewers keep going on about, 'unfortunately it won't fit this or that?!' It's a SMALL FORM case! Be happy you can fit 2 large gpus & watercooling. It's for an mATX mobo for crying out loud!
Does the USB3 also have USB2 connector? because my MoBo only has USB 2
Follow the edge of the cage. If all the screws are taken off you shouldn't have any problems taking the cage out..
I have a question how did u remove hdd bay I removed screws on bottom and still can't take it off
thx for the reply
You can, if the space becomes tight, the bottom cage can be removed, and the drive can be mounted else where..
can i fit an EVGA supernova power supply ?
Cheers Mate..
A good review. Thanks.
As shown on the video, its only a visual thing, functionally is not compromised. You can fit the optical drive slightly forward but that will expose sides of the drive which may not look as nice.
Aren't there any possibilities to advance a little the DVD reader so you will still have a straight line in the front?
I want this case but I want to be able to read and write DVD too.
I agree, the dollar figure is an important factor. In ATX form factor there are a lot of decent cases out there in this price range. Happy hunting...
Good overview of case, well organized presentation. Looking for a larger case in the obsidian group, yet, in the end it will always come down to $s. Thanks.
thanks for the reply
Thanks mate..
Regards to using a converter at the 5.25" bay with H100i. Unfortunately a standard HDD will still not fit, though you may be able to fit a smaller 2.5" drive, but such will depend on the converter used, etc. I would not depend on it, too close for comfort.
great video, very nice and professional.
a quick question though, if i used something like a h100i for the top radiator, is there enough space to install a 3.5" HDD in the top optical bay using 5.25 to 3.5 adapter?
I bought this case. It does not have Dust filter on top. I am confused, How to install the top radiator, whether to use intake or exhaust, with all stock fans intact.
DISCLAIMER: THIS CASE IS FOR MICRO ATX MOTHERBOARDS AND SMALLER.
if i was still drunk and high, id think that was Mark Zuckerberg on this video.
I didn't install a cd drive because it looks terrible with the front of the case.
Chassy?
Notice that the SATA Power cable isn't present! The SSD and HDD and H100i has no power. This case will support "Dual 140mm in the front! If you don't thinks so check out my 350D build under my videos.
is this the same size as a rosewill line m?
Awesome review bro, I was planning on building an air cooled system on this case. Do you think a 160mm height Dark Rock 3 CPU air cooler will fit just fine on this case? Although this case have clearance for 160mm according to their website but im still in doubt. thnx in advance
OMG such a sexy Build! =)
Which motherboard did he use in this video?
does this fit the hyper 212 evo?
Things I don't like about this case:
1.) When you install a cd drive, it doesn't fit flush with the front of the case.
2.) Also, the window shows off the HDD/SSD bays... like why?
Sorry, felt the need to rant and to see if anyone else agrees with me.
If I install a Mini - ITX motherboard, will there be a way to install a video card?
can some please tell me if the top 2 fans are exhaust or intake? im assuming intake but im not sure. thanks :)
is 350d okay to pair with H80i ? or rather get the h100i ? thanks

Can i fit a M5A97 R2.0 ? Please answer
does this case require a Micro ATX PSU?
Would the Front Cover restrict the Airflow of the Case?
