2020 and STILL rocking the 200r. Sleeper box with balls.
I bought this case back in July 2013, still have it and don't plan on replacing it anytime soon. It's no larger than it needs to be to get the job done, yet can still fit a pretty long GPU and 11 drive bays total (3x 5.25, 4x 3.5, 4x 2.5). Also protip for anyone watching in 2020, there is a dust filter kit for this case specifically, made by DEMCiFlex, which might be worth getting as this case has no dust filtration otherwise except the front panel and PSU fan
I didn't realise this case has been around this long. I bought one a few months ago for my new build and it's been great.
It's 2020 and I just ordered this one because I have some nice, brand new 140mm fans sitting around. And the price can't be beat. And my CM690 is getting a BIT old and should probably be retired, even though it's still a sweet case.

Ive been using this almost 8 years now. I dont care about lights or side windows or water cooling. I wanted the smallest case that is decent quality, could still fit a full sized ATX board and had room for an optical drive. I actually use all 3 external bays - smart card reader, dvd burner and a card reader. Its been the perfect case and its only like 60 bucks. I reused it for my new build when I moved to ryzen 3600 from an intel 3770k.

This may be a dumb question, but it's necessary due to my lack of computer knowledge. I am building my first computer this weekend (w/ the help of an experienced friend) and I am using this case. My motherboard will be the ASUS prime 390-A LGA 1151 ATX, I've been seeing that I may have to remove a standoff before installation of the motherboard to avoid shorting it, will this apply to me as well? Thanks!
5:11 to my knowledge that little piece is not removable unless you take some pliers and break it off, which is what I had to do. It didn't seem to be screwed it or anything, it seemed like it was permanently attached. It breaks off nice and clean though.
Watching this in 2020 because I'm considering moving by build into one of these, lol.
Since the top can take 120 and 140mm fans, is it possible to fit a 280mm radiator or would it contact the motherboard?

2020 used on my ryzen 3800x build .😀 My only complaint is the power button feels flimsy .
2020 and I'm considering this case due to its side fan capability, price, height, and front panel IO/power support. They just don't make these cases anymore but they're awesome!

Shit case. 1 cm off the ground! How is the PSU supposed to get air from below? Also hard drives are mounted front to back so you have to take both panels off to insert and connect a hard drive. Horrible design.

can you mount two 240mm or 280mm radiators in this bad boy? it looks like you could do 1 on the top and one on the side panel if it doesnt interfere with GPU. Has anyone tried this?
My brother has this case, i recommend it, but get lots of dust filters, even though its a mid atx, its very big and heavy

Minus: - no dust filters top and side (even as optional accessory) - no polarization marked on led connectors

Fantastic value and I got this for when the kids came along. No where to poke anything in the front :D Other than usb. only gripe is PSU cabling for non modular PSU :( Have to pull out everything to replace PSU. Meh..

Don't see the need for the top vents and side panel vents as a standard. 200R should have solid versions and of course and newer tech PWM fans as provided stock fans. One 5.25 drive bay is also about all that's needed as of 2019 which could make the case dimensions a bit less tall.

Not sure if I'm going to to get a reply. But I just got this case for my first PC build and I love how clean the front looks but I want to put in a CD reader and it looks like I have to completely remove the cover? Does anyone know how to get it to act like a cover that opens and closes?

Can I build a EKL Brocken 2 in this case? I am not sure because on the webside from Corsair, they say the CPU- Cooler can have a max. height from 16,5 but other websides say other things. Thank's for all answers! :D

My hard drive didn't line up with the screws when it was all the way in the tray. Also the Sata and power connector stood up too far and blocked the case from closing. Any ideas?
