Sir do we have to change a pair of lenses weekly or monthly? And what is its daily usage hour?

daily lenses are worth every penny to me, considering i only wear contacts like max twice a week anyways. not having to worry about cleaning them, storing them, etc. and the difference in comfort is AMAZING in comparison to monthlys.

I love my monthly lenses which I can sleep in for the entire month- its like not having anything at all as I pop them in on the first of the month and take them out on the last day. Have used these for 8 years and love them. One important issue that i have with dailies which the doctor fails to mention is the enormous amount of waste involved in using daily and individually packed lenses. Seriously- we all know that the ocean are drowning in plastic so I think its an important issue to factor in.
im glad I started with dailies. Everything about them seems easier and fits my lifestyle .

Dailies are expensive even though you know it's good.
I use dailies but irregularly, mostly for out of door activities like xc skiing/cycling etc. Is it ok to use a pair of dailies intermittantly. Say I was out half day cycling and took them out when coming back, put them in storaga sol'n and use them again for same, day following?
I only wear daily lenses. In my past I had monthly, but I think they were thicker, so I got faster dry eyes from it. And as you mentioned, monthly lenses get dirty and are not very comfortible after some time.
Also, huge factor for me is that with daily, not wearing contacts for a week or two at a time wont be a waste of contacts. That just means I don’t have to buy contacts for those weeks. Also, if you’re just trying out contacts, you can buy enough for a month instead of for a year

This video is so weird because I came here to learn how to take car of my contacts better, but the brand this guy is boasting about is the worst product I've ever put in my eye. Like after 2 hrs of wearing my eyes are watering, itchy, red, unfocused, and feels like i have a thick sheet over my eye. But he likes themwhy? They are so uncomfortable

I used to wear Acuvue, and switched to Air Optix like 5 years ago. Best decision I've ever made. I tried Biofinity and for whatever reason they just refused to seat properly.
Bioinfinty's are the best but a bit expensive. 3month supply= AUD 150

For some reason, all contact lenses have been irritating fo me ever since I've gotten a -3.25 prescription EXCEPT for Coopervision! So Biofinity have been the only lenses I have been buying for the last couple of years.
I have a question, if i wear and sleep in monthly extended wear contacts for 6 nights straight do i have to throw it away or is it still good for the rest of the month as long as i clean it once a week?

My mother used to use bausch and laumb lens and now when I'm going to visit a doctor for contact lens she has already told me that she will buy bausch and laumb yearly contact lens for me. Btw I'm in High school (got promoted into 12th few weeks ago) and I'm 16 years old , will be 17 this September. Kinda excited and kinda nervous

To clean the lensholder,i put boiled water in a bowl and soak the lensholder for a few minutes in the boiled take it out whith a spoon,then the hot water vapourizes and the case is dry,and the bacteries are dead.
What If I'm not a daily contact wearer. What if I'm using them once a week. Do I have to change the solution every day still?

I once used a hydrogen peroxide solution DESTROY my contacts. They had little dots over the entire surface, I assume it broke down the lenses.
I got colored contacts for a Halloween costume this year. Im not gonna use them very often, but this really helped. Thanks!

I have contacts in after so many hours they feel uncomfortable dry and scratchy. I don’t know what to do to make it better I did get clear I triple action cleanser. I’m hoping this works do I have to do this every night before I go to bed or just once a month with the peroxide cleaner
