This is for more portable lap use. I'd get the Evo if its on a desk 99% of the time. The Evo has a fan controller and a power switch.

Even after heavy load for many hours,my cpu ans gpu reach maximum 75 Degrees celsius. All you gotta do is to regularily clean the laptop fan,thats it

In my opinion the laptop chill pads work best in an A/C controlled environment. Ventilating cool air to the system's Vents.
I don't care so much about getting more performance out of my Aorus 7 but if the cooling pad can keep it even a bit cooler then I'm okay with that. I don't use it for gaming much anyway. Just schooling for now.

Good review. I had one of these, but the wire stopped connecting and I can't reach it because it's hard-wired into the cooler, so I have to buy a new one. :/
Great review mate. It sounds like you really have your finger on the pulse in terms of laptop cooling. Question is - which one would you recommend over this one? I'm using it now and indeed the fan noise is noticeable. Then again with 2 other desktop systems purring away, it is just a bit more background noise in my office.
@CCReviews wont the fan of the cooler interact with the laptops airflow as hot air is exiting out the laptop vent,(underneath the laptop), wont the fan push this heat back into the laptop

What's great about this one, unlike all the other ones, is that it does not have OBNOXIOUS LEDs! All those other ones on amazon, you cannot turn the blue/red LEDs off. Luckily this one is actually good, so if LEDs are a dealbreaker like they were for me, then this is the one to get.

inexpensive ? well in Europe it is 75 Euro not including the shipping :s The Thermaltake Massive 23 LX is lot cheaper though i was more convinced with the quality of the Cooler Master ;)
