I had zero issues installing a coolermaster LC240E liquid cooler in this case. Why would you want the water outlets facing the bottom outside anyways? Seems like you didn't really try.
Uhh... You're suppose to use the SSD brackets with 7mm SSDs, not with 9mm SSDs.
I like the layout of this case, kind of a bummer it's not very well designed. I did look at this one before buying my silencio, which is a really good budget case, would just enjoy the look of a mesh front panel and a second 5 1/4 bay
So question for anybody with an answer I have a 2011 dell studio XPS 9100 and I had read that the mobo will fit this case just looking for a confirmed answer
Got this case sort of and it's my beater. Works well with my 2nd gen i3 build :)
I've had this for 6 years now. It's absolutely fantastic, both fans work, and it still looks brand new.
Actually it seems quite good
Great review,superb explanations
Good little freenas case for 6 drives.
Well, I was thinking about buying this case for my 1st gaming pc but just have some small notes:
In general the case is acceptable: 2 intake fans from the front and 1 rear exhaust are more than enough so you can go nicely with them, if you need extra cooling for the GPU just install 1 more intake fan in the left side.
For best cable management just leave the 2 right side fans uninstalled, no need for them at all, if you plan to overclock which i never recommend then make sure that overclocking depends more on the CPU Cooler which has nice support here up to 164mm height so you don't have to worry about the fit of your CPU cooler in that case.
GPU length is pretty low but still acceptable, the most powerful card currently GTX 1080 ti asus has the longest GPU length 298mm, i'm not sure about the future proof of GPUs's lengths but i think they are going to be shorter, if that right so just don't care about the GPU length.
Conclusion:
you can install 3 intakes fans and 1 rear exhaust safely and properly, actually not sure about the 2 tops for exhaust if they can be installed with no problem because of the very little space.
SSD brackets is not that big problem to worry about so i think you can fix it.
So someone please reply, do you recommend me to go up with this case for my gaming pc?
Two fans needed for double penetration
Attention. This vid is old. The new N400 are better. (more space at the top)
Good place where you are doing the review. Seems refreshing. Thumbs up! :)
hello, thanks for the review, i'm looking for a case with 6 "3.5 slots" at least, just like this one, what other cases would you recommend ?
thanks
3:21 by the way you can remove the metal cage and insert the radiator you will find it in manual
N300 or 400? For me, this one look's a bit cooler ^^
Will this fit a CM hyper 212x?
I bought this one for my new PC. Its great, nothing to complain about it.
quit being a whiny lil bitch
Komt de gene die het inspreekt uit Brazilië?
Still using it today!
Will it take a full size ATX mother board? Thanks
my 4 year old case
PLEASE do a masterbox lite 5 revieuw, there are NONE online.
Despite the fact that I don't buy tampons on Amazon, I am still a female subscriber of LTT.
fuck Linus tech tips
If the PSU is showing I'm not buying it.
Review the Corsair Spec 01
I had $35 in my budget for a case and a psu
you are funny Linus i like all your videos i have see
"Who reads the video description anyway? Do you read the video description?" * promptly reads the video description *
"Buy new tampons"
I think you mean buy "more" tampons, unless you think women are just reusing them until they wear out, like a toothbrush.
Interesting, but still not convinced I should bother buying a case at all. There's plenty of angle iron at my job just lying around, sheet metal is cheap, and wire feed welding can yield some surprisingly aesthetic bead lines.
6:09 I disagree I am fine with finger prints because I wipe them off with that cloth meant for glasses.
not only females consume tampons cmon man its 2015
Does it have clearance for a Noctua NH D15?Will I be able to close the side panel without interfering with the CPU cooler?
I was writing a comment about the tampons and then you litterally just said that xD
What are similar cases in terms of qualitly and price?
Just to put it out there, there are people that watch this channel that need tampons! :)
How do you fit an optical cd drive into this case?
Can anybody explain to me how he fixes the SSD at 5:17? I am struggling to install mine
I gave this video a thumbs up despite the AIO CPU cooler was installed upside down. It's a common mistake among most tech Youtubers. And the focus was on the case, not PC building. I really like this case. Can't wait to buy it for a Ryzen 5000 build...someday, when new CPUs and GPUs are actually in stock. :(
Which is better this one or the darkflash dlm22?
so uh , it's a P300A? haha
I've had this case for 3 months.
I only noticed the 2.5" drive mounts that are under the GPU after seeing you use one of them in this video.......
Thanks :DD
so I've been looking on this case for some while now, well can this case accommodate the XFX Thiic Ultra III rx 5700 xt which is 315mm/314cm and also can I fit 9 case fans on this one?
Should have mounted that water cooling radiator on top and left the front just fans for air flow, also you mounted that radiator upside down, the tubes should always come in from the bottom when mounted at the front like that.
A little late, but this is a classic example of the 'Not US' tax! The case's price in the US at the time was ~65 USD, or only about £50!... Though I see even at the 'corrected' price it got bumped up to 60. ;)
Very poor choice of position to mount the water cooler. And this is a mistake so bad that I shouldn't expect from a channel with that many subscribers.
If you think Im saying that because it's on the front part of the case, it's not. It's not a problem for it to be on the front. Problem is the radiator is upside down.
You see, there's always some air within the loop. Air will always "want to" go UP if mixed with water, so the highest point of a flow must always be a point where the accumulated air wont disturb the water flow. In this position he mounted, air will accumulate right in the position of the intake and outake of water of the radiator. No, you don't want air at that spot.
I really like mATX ! It's small but still has some expansion, and is much cheaper than ATX in most cases.
I currenty have an ATX case and my mATX motherboard looks ridicule in it, definitely gonna buy this case, especially since it's "only" 65€ where I live.
It has the HDD slots I need, the SSD slots I need and the airflow I need.
It won't look any cheaper than my aerocool case lol, terrible thing...
Definitely considering this for a professional, clean look at my home office, and to save some desk space (downsizing from a Lian-Li PC-7HB)
Practically no one should be buying full-sized ATX boards now. They just don't make any sense for the vast majority of people who will only ever install one graphics card and leave the rest of the slots empty.
ok, ngl, that's a sexy way to show/hear building the system.
5:20 *nani* !?! are those things holding the SSD's magnetic or something???
What material is the actual front "filter" made of? Plastic or Metal?
Do you think your GPU temps would have been better if you air cooled your cpu? The radiator must be affecting the gpu temps?
buys non rgb.
but if u wanna add a rgb fan in the front.
then why the hell not buy a rgb front cooler set??? i got one that was super cheap. and then just disconnected the rgb cables.
my friend was like why? and im like because it fucking distracts me during gaming. if i want my room to look like a whore house ill buy red spot lights.
Weird. I have the exact same case but only one USB port on the front (well top really) IO panel.
Cool vid regardless. I'm probably going to follow a similar path for improved cooling and airflow. Although no RGB fans. Hate that crap ! ;)
A top mount AIO would solve the gpu temp issue
You don't need to route the cable through the bottom or the top, making a cable mess like that. There's a hole exactly for the fan cables on right side
