I've had two of these and both have had a coil whine eminating from the top right (where the back key is) of the keyboard. Has anyone else had this?

i'm still trying to decide what my next keyboard will be. i'm not getting rid of my razer huntsman for another two year, but i want my next keyboard to have a standard layout so i can change keycaps easier. i don't want to lose the optical switches though, so i'm kinda stuck in a ditch. (i don't want bloody brand keyboards because they're not clean enough
You had me right until you said ABS! that's another 40 to 50 bucks for none ABS key set. They made a hit but cheaped out on PBT caps.
I hate the fact the caps lock,scroll lock and num lock rgb is off when not in use. I wish there was a workaround. This is so dumb

the enter and spacebar does sound like a super top premium keyboard compared to my old vengeance K70 from corsair.
I'm thinking of getting a new keyboard with a budget of 100 dollars what would you suggest? I dont need macros or media keys I want rgb and decent switches like gateron or cherry keycaps can be terrible(I can swap them) I want TKL i would prefer removable cable but isn't required

Cooler Master keyboards are very underrated. They have decent spacerbar stabilization, and the new ones look great. I kinda was hoping they'd release one with Cherry MX Silvers/Speeds, but I understand why they didn't. Cherry MX Silvers are dogshit for typing, and it's so easy to fat finger abilities. You don't know how many times I've fat fingered an Ultimate because I looked at my Q key in a funny way. Silvers are so sensitive, and I'm not sure if the speeds actually actually offer any sort of advantage vs Reds or Browns.
Would've been a perfect keyboard for me if it weren't for that horrible Function key. I despise function keys.

just go for the Masterkeys Pro M. its much cheaper than this model.
It had better software, lighting and a volume wheel this would be a #1 choice for a mechanical keyboard.
