I don't understand why they still keep the 5 inch bay. This should be just optional.
I like the case, and even today it looks like a good option to buy. However, I don't think they've added a fan hub like most cases these days (fractal) and they've done away with the option for a solid side panel and went with TG only (I wish this fad would die already, or at least offer solid side panels and TG -- fractal offers both). Those are my only two complaints based on case reviews of this unit in 2020, as it's hard to find a good mesh/airflow case that looks like it could pass for a professional workstation and not an RGB unicorn puke "gaming" computer that seems to be the norm these days.
Anyone know if a cooler x72 kraken can fit infront?

For me this is a perfect case
If they are going to offer this case on Amazon for instance they should at least make the HDD bays available, a huge case with 2 x 3.5 mounts is nuts as far as I'm concerned. I'd be willing to pay for the extra cages but can't get them anywhere in the UK.
Possible dumb question, I'm just now building my first PC and I'm using this case, how would the internal case fans connect to the power supply?

There is just no comparison between someone demonstrating the features of a case in a video, to reading the specs and viewing photos or a 360 image on a website... we need videos like yours. I like the case actually. I'm also a fan of the "Make it my own" philosophy Dimitri. I have a CM Half-X case myself and I love it. I believe the Half-X has been out for quite some time but I believe it has those base types of customizing that CoolerMaster knows how to do. Great Vid man, keep em comin !
It looks like this case has reached the end of its production line. Is this true. What is replacing it. Are Coolermaster going to "build" on the idea of the modular design. I love the handles.

this is from the year that i bought my current pc,i use i7-6700k and this case still serving me really well. My only complain is man that case is heavy. When i have to carry this to clean my fragile body cries.

I have the ML36R installed in the front no problem.
I have the MC500p and actually love this case. Extremely durable and easy to build in. A little bigger than your average mid tower but it’s like having a shrunken down full tower that can hold an eatx if you choose. No regrets with this case and plan on having it for a long time.
Can you guys review Cooler Master's newest line of cases? I'm thinking of getting the MC500P, finally upgrading from ~$50 cases to something better like the MC500P.
Is MC500P almost the same?
I just bought this case, did they ever end up coming out with anything, or was it just a "hey, we're totally listening and getting the community involved.... but not really" ploy?

I been using the same case for 10 years now, just upgraded to the MC500P. Cases sure have come a long way, this is the 1st case I've used that has a basement for the PS and awesome cable management. It amazing how great a MB can look when all the cables are nicely hidden. Only issue I had with mine was trying to mount the H115iPro AIO in the thing. I took out the mounting bracket and installed the rad into it, but then couldn't get it to fit back in the case. I had to install the rad with the mounting bracket already installed in the case to get it to fit, and it was defiantly a pain in the ass. This case was my only option at micro center that hit all the option I wanted. They had alot of nice cases, but most had no bays for a dvd/blu ray drive. I mean I, don't use them as often as I used to, but I'm not ready to give them up like floppy drives just yet. This was the only one that had drive bays, tempered glass, and didn't look ugly af.

I'm confused. You say Amazon sells this for $79 (at the time of filming). It is now 12/8/2020 and Amazon is asking $150.48 for this item. I realize it is 2 years after filming, but is inflation THAT bad?

I have this case... well the Lite version with a plastic side panel and it is actually quite awful, i have to keep the front panel off in order to stop it from overheating (RX 580 and I5 9400F) i have recently built a pc in to a 2012 Cooler master case that cost about the same back in the day and it is better in almost every single way

One of my friends got a MasterBox 5 (Non-Pro) and it was the easiest case I've ever worked in. One problem we had was we didn't notice the extra standoffs it came with until after the build, but IDK if that's our fault or Cooler Master's fault.
Would you recommend this for a ryzen 5 1600x and a gigabyte RX 590?
I have a Ryzen 5 3600 running at 48c plenty of airflow, there is a gap between the plastic front and the case where air flows nicely.
So the fans that it comes with are RGB,there not just purple?
My 4.7ghz I7-8700K runs at 70 max after a few hours of gaming with all stock fans on the case. I must be doing something right, but We’ll see what that will be like when my 2080 comes in.

I have i7 9700k and Radeon 5700xt inside this case. It has good airflow...... without both front and side panel. 10/10 would recommend.
