Ya now take it down and put back in the bag
a lot easier to put up than get back in the bag
Frank, don’t be a racist and describe the size of the tent using words like “Chinese midgets”.
Frank, you are a FUCKING RACIST! You called Chinese midgets?!!!! You better fucking apologize you fucktard!
Few things your ground tarp shoul not extend further than the tent floor , second what’s with the racist comment ?
Stupid beginning: we don't want to watch how you take it out of a box!
can you fit a queen bed in these?
That is the smallest six-person tent I've ever seen 😲
everyone in the amazon comments is saying the tent fly doesnt fit the 6p instant tent? But it seems yours does. hmm
Can you post a link for the cabin floor?
Can’t see anything useful
Buyer beware, if your roof tent poles break coleman does not make replacement poles. Personal experience, keep your reciept and you can make a claim with them.
YEAH RAINIER BEER STAY HYDRATED MU FRIEND
when it says 6 person is that 6 decent sized people or 6 kids lol?
I guess using the Coleman foot print/tarp you couldn't stake out the tent to spread the tent walls out?
Did this guy seriously just say Chinese midgets
Next time set camera up front a distance to capture you setting it up, POV doesn't take it all in
Good honest review
I have a tent similar to this and it requires you to pull down on the middle hub to add tension and make it stand strong and sturdy. Check if yours has this.
What am I doing wrong? I've followed manufacturer instructions and watched this video multiple times. All top poles extended and locked, all legs extended and locked. But my tent is completely unstable and leans -- and almost collapses -- to one side. I try to adjust the legs and pull the ground sheet tort but then it collapses the other way. Meanwhile the side poles (which as this video notes do not extend at the top part) are about half an inch off the ground.
thanks! just bought this tent and you made me confident on the purchase!
So I've been looking for a review of this tent vs. the Ozark Trail(OT) version. I ended up buying both and this one certainly stood up against 40 mph winds better than the Ozark Trail one. I didn't have the OT guy lines out though because I was not camping, just water proofing, and didnt expect a lot of wind. However the wind showed up and the stakes came out of the ground and the tent broke. The OT one does seem to block out more sun and have more features like the vents in the bottom, zipping sections on the roof, and the hanging wall organizer. It also provides more room because it stands up straight. I cannot say which is more water repellent as I always use seam sealer and waterproof spray on my tents. The Coleman is a bit more of a pain to set up and take down because it has extra locking joints but the process is still pretty fast. The hinged door took more time to set up but honestly is a great feature because it velcros to the tent so you don't always have to zip it! I would say, if youre camping in the backyard with the kids and don't want the morning sun waking you up, go Ozark Trail. If you may encounter wind or a storm, go Coleman! Also, avoid my mistake and always put out the stakes and guy lines and waterproof it. Of course this is for people, like me, who are looking for a comparison, not just a review on this tent.
Two corner poles failed in first use of tent during wind. I don't recommend this tent.
P.S. Always use the guy lines, or you will see the wind carry it away at some point lol.
I'm sorry....but, anyone who does not tie and stake down their tent in the outdoors, IS A FOOL. There are plenty of videos of tents and even bounce houses flying away in strong wind.
Great review. Is it rain proof out of the box?
This looks nice , I'm looking to replace a ozark 6 person tent that I used heavy for 7 years before it fell apart last year. This tent peaks my interest , I'm just worry about how sturdy it is. My Ozerk withstood heavy rain and 50 mph winds. So I have high standards.
Thank you for such a comprehensive review!
Can the swinging door be zipped closed from the inside, or only velcro shut?
I have the same tent, i luv it. Thanks for the review
Great review, but tent itself looks really flimsy. It looks like it might get wet since there is no tension. Pass
Hello there. I am looking for this tent and I live in Canada, Alberta. Where did you buy this and if so, could you tell me where I could buy this. Everywhere I check, the website says the store is out of stock and that is quite unfortunate. Please let me know, thank you.
Great video thanks for the info .
I have this tent. I’ve used it twice and have never had to secure guy lines for support. I do stake the tent down.
Does rain get in?
Coleman Instant Tents are the only tents I will ever buy. I have bought about 6 in my life and have given them to friends and family.
Any hooks for a fan ?
How many beds fit inflatables?
wow your review and set up is perfect!! thanks (O:
Have this same tent, it’s been in some rain and mine didn’t leak.
Oi não falo inglês,como chama estes ferros de sustentação da barraca e onde eu posso encontrar, pois perdi o da minha barraca e a coleman não vende
Hello!. Is it possible to close the porch screens?
I use this tent.. waterprof and the screned i use to commend area.. so big suitable for my family..
Did the sealer help the rain from coming in
Thanks for the information
Nice summer tent, and your the only person on YouTube that actually fully set up the tent and staked it down. Nice job. I will watch a review till they cut corners then I turn it off.
I've never seen a tent set up more perfectly. It looks almost fake lol. Impressive!
Hello bro the video is so nice but I am a Solo Traveler so could you please review any best instant tents
Hi Andrew. I am José de Berazategui, Buenos Aires Argentina, I am using the google translator so you can read my message. I don't speak English, but I could see in your video some peculiarities of the tent and it looks very well set up. I have one just like it, but haven't used it yet. My question is, how does it behave in the rain? Thank you
Hola Andrew. Gracias
Get ride of the air mattress and use cots. Warmer, up higher for the windows, some place to sit and tones more room for storage under them. Best change I made to my tenting. My tent has the same set up except the screen room also has a bathtub floor and panels that zip over the screens so you can have another dry tent area if you need to. Great tents that's for sure.
Hey...great review. Just set mine up for the first time. Everything went well but there is brown rectangular piece that is not on the instructions. Any idea what that is for?
Great review, I just started looking into this tent. I have a Marmot 4p dome but I'm looking for a larger cabin style to be able to stand up and do a little bit more in. I'm thinking not, but did it come with a footprint? And does the floor seem of thick material? I borrowed a Copper Canyon LX 8p but was not impressed at all, the floor was so thin and it took a while to set up.
this tent is not poped-up right?
Thanks! Great review and video.
We bought it in 2018 & went to Banff National Park & found out this is a warm weather tent! We were very cold because of the mesh roof! Setting it up is not simple! Bringing it to a warmer area of Alberta this week so hopefully it will not be too cold at night. It just might be a hot weather tent! Ours doesn’t have the rear window, which would be nice.
The user manual doesn't mention the 8 yellow plastic stakes that are included. Did you use them? Where/How?
If we don't use them we don't have enough metal stakes to stake down the rainfly... Do you have a clue?
Coleman WeatherMaster 6-Person Tent with Screen Room: https://youtu.be/nTRTvn2DaxE
Thank you for the detailed, specific review. Might buy this or the Carlsbad
We've had ours for 11 years! Going to by another one!!!
Nice video! And you included some info. that other reviewers lacked, specifically a good visual of the screened roof from the inside. The elite version of this tent has extra strips of tent material crossing through the roof to support the LED ceiling light. But this tent doesn't have that extra material, which I prefer. An LED light would be a nice feature for some folks. But seems all that extra material on the roof would obstruct your view of the starry night sky!
I'm planning on getting this tent and taking it to Holly beach Louisiana for a few days of camping/fishing. Do you think it would do well at the beach? Do you think the provided stakes are long enough for the sand?
Hello!. Is it possible to close the porch screens?
Hi! My hubby and I are looking at different tents. I was wondering if you somehow lock it at night just to make sure Noone will just walk in while your sleeping? Or when u just go on a walk and so on
I use this tent.. waterprof and the screned i use to command space.. so big suitable for my family..
This looks like a palace 🤩 I must have one!!
Great review guys, love the tent
Does it leak in a heavy downpour
Thank you for this
What size is that tarp? I love that it covers the screen room floor. Thank you for a great video!
Looks like you are ready for anything. Two Happy Campers!
Nice. I love those doors on tents though I've never had one like that. I will say that's a lot of set up for some. Also...those nails looking good!
