I use one of these for sous vide with an immersion circulator sous vide machine in each corner. Really works great for briskets, ribs, chickens, turkeys and pork butts.

@Peter von Panda decent review. I like that you did a review on the outside/handles/lid. It would have been nice to show how long it will keep items cool as Kam Ash mentioned. It's been over 18 months since this review, how is the cooler handling and would you recommend it?
A cooler review would be cooler if you tested and mentioned how good it actually is at keeping things cool.... like how many days/hours does it hold ice for... Thanks for the review tough anyway

great vid thanks, a lot of people don't pre-chill their drinks. the old stanely thermos i have said in the insrtuctions to keep cold liquids cold longer put it in the freezer overnight and put boiling water in it and let it sit for 10 min then dump to keep drinks hot longer. it makes sense if you think about it same thing should work with coolers. we freeze a few water bottles and put them in with everything else that has been in the fridge overnight before we load it. after all that, then top it off with the ice.
is the top insulated on the coleman Xtreme?
Sears? Is that still a thing? Did you track how many times the kids opened the top just to look? My guess is the rating is for JUST ice, nothing else. Try that for all 4 at same time in same place. P.s., your cooler budget is way more than mine!
We had a few vintage coolers for the scout troop and they were good but one time my Sister bought some Omaha steaks, they came shipped in a high density foam cooler with a block of dry ice! She took the steaks and gave me the cooler! I used it a few times for camping and it worked considerably better then the plastic coolers! My personal cooler is from the 60's made by "Thermos" and is made from Aluminum... Super "cool". 😃👍
