Купил себе тестер в Ростове-На-Дону, очень роскошный аромат, мне 27 лет.
It’s good to see a modern review on a classic. This was one of my favorites when I bought it in 2012. I still have a few drops in that bottle I spray time to time. Stayed away because of fears I read it had been reformulated and is weak now. I just remember it as being very gentlemanly. You think it’s gone, but when you heat up a little, the most amazing almost 2nd skin scent rises from you. Ive been inspired to revisit despite its age. Excellent review bro.
It kinda reminds me of the scent from hugo boss, even though this was much earlier and is much better.
I sometimes layer it with a slightly fecal/barnyardy Oud,for example Aaron-Terence-Hughes first Oud edition. It’s actually incredibly good!!
I have the vintage bottle too with about 70ml left and it's absolutely magical but like all of my other vintage fragrances I'm too scared to wear them as there's a finite supply so I don't get to enjoy these anymore unfortunately. I'm 19 right now so I'm hoping to keep them safe until I'm 30/40 and then I can show my children what real perfumery was like. Because I dread to think what fragrances in 20 years will be like, if they last 40 minutes I will be surprised lol
You always hit the point with your description. I bought it today, as I usually use the Sport extreme version. That peachy scent is really nice
This and Platinum are fav's of mine.
Why is my sprayer different
I just bought this (new formulation). As you said, it is a complex fragrance and requires time to learn to appreciate it. After reading reviews I was hyped to go try it and sprayed it on my hand in a fragrance shop. The first impression was MEH. So I decided to try Bleu de Chanel on my other hand. After about 30 minutes I smelled Allure again and damn it was good. Then throughout the day, I found myself constantly smelling my wrist like an idiot. The way the spices and the creaminess is put together, absolute perfection. Although Bleu de Chanel was good, it was boring compared to Allure. Next time I was in a fragrance shop, sprayed it on a tester, wasn't blown away by the opening, but I knew that it takes a little bit of time to really reveal it's glory. I wouldn't suggest you blind by it, go try it out, but don't give up on it too fast. Really a hidden gem.
This is a masterpiece! I have same bottle myself, very classy and crisp wood's. My favourite in the Allure range.
I love this scent bt the performance in winter left me wanting. Will leave for spring and summer. Nice presentation bro
I have an original bottle from 1999. Love it.
Is there a double c logo on the inside of the cap ? Like bleu chanel
Just found this in the closet unopened.
Hey Joy, which fragrance is close to this, which is in budget also????
good video..i like parfum special..
jose of paraguay
In 1996 when Chanel was released I was 19yrs of age and it became my signature and girls were crazy for it young and old alike. I've recently bought the new formula for my son without knowing they'd changed and I am crushed having just spent $200 on this wreckage. Appreciate the Vintage while you have it and store it well, I'd love to know where you got it?
Thanks for a breakdown of one of my favorite frags of all time. This started it all for me back in 2006.
This is my next purchase!!!
(Edition blanche is friggin awesome)
bro allure homme price koto hote pare bd te?
I let my wife pick me a new fragrance yesterday, and this is the one she went with. Over Dior, over Bleu and all its flankers, over Homme Sport. And I have to say, a classic never dies. Performance definitely leaves something to be desired, however the dry down of this fragrance is masterful while it is around. Wore it today and really enjoyed it, plays excellent on my skin. This is not in any way a projection beast. Definitely more of a sensual, intimate, close fragrance. Probably not worth the coin these days, I agree. But a must have for any collection, IMO.
used to rock this back in the day
Have a question...does this smell like the one i used in the 90's when i was a teenager or is it different?
The old one was amazing
Wtf are you saying! This fragrance is a classic! It is gorgeous, very alluring (jo) and elegant as fuck! I wear it since I was a kid and I wear it nowadays, even when the Eau Extreme version is better in performance and projection.
Nothing like allure homme original .
I have this and the Extreme version but actually wear this one more often, maybe because its super versatile without the typical sportiness of run-of-the-mill designers. I get a prominent ginger note that reminds me of YSL L'Hommie a bit
Sorry man, i'm not agree with you. Allure Homme is a compliment getter. I wear it at the office and the girls love it. This scent is just boombastic👌🏼
Wedding day fragrance 9/18/99. Will always have this in the stash.
Finally a 2019 video about the original
You buggin, this is better than half of the new stuff that’s currently out
Have it and really enjoy it. No problems with longevity (8+ hours) and moderate projection.
OK. So you say there are better alternatives. Like what? I am against beer goggled reviewers but giving a thumbs down without offering an alternative doesnt add much to the prospective buyer.
I like it. Its a great office fragrance.
How is this compared to Perry ellis m?
I say it’s designer and I’d never deign to spray it on me anyway - I just walk on by to the Les Exclusifs section
The original formula was a beast in cool weather. I think they did a great injustice by watering this one down
I still have 3/5 of an original release 100 ml bottle that I purchased in February 2002. I found it to be unique when I first purchased it but grew tired of it quickly...not sure exactly why but it could be the peach in the opening. Wearing it today because of your video and I have to say it's a refreshing scent. It might smell dated to us fragheads but I doubt it smells dated to the general public.
Hey Mr James!
Great review Duder! :D
I think it’s worth it. And it performs decently on my skin. Average longevity (6h) and projects poorly, but it’s not a bad thing for this kind of scent, which is not exactly easy to like. All in all, with a discount of course, it’s worth a shot. Definitely!
Great review as always J! Keep up the great work! ✌️
What do you recommend me
-Allure homme sport extreme (ihave the original) I like sweet versatile fragrance like extreme (any recommendations)
-Allure homme (ilove coconut so much and peach)
Do this one with Chelsey again featuring MFK frags.
Awesome and beautiful wife. I got the Blanche as a gift for my cousin yesterday, so pleased to see it ranked number 1 according to you, beautiful couple. Thanks a lot
Dislike, just because you didn’t let the cat say anything about these fragrances
Hi nice review, in dry down is it woodsy in sport? Thanks..
Who did he say sponsored that one?
Is eau Extreme suitable for any situation?
I wear the Original in the Deoderant Cute Couple
my favorite is allure homme sport , i met my gf when i was wearing it and it does remind her of me when she smells it . so i guess it became my signature scent
Why that woman ever cut her hair is beyond me. Wow😍
Sorry, but U can't tell the drydown that quickly. It usually take hours. But cute none the less
Here's a test Ash. Get her to do a video with you without saying " I mean " ,, It ain't happening my friend
Your cat is my favorite reviewer ajsjjsj 🐆🐆
You are so amazing ! Hi from réunion island !(French country) . Edition blanche and eau extreme... 💥💥💥 ! ! !
The cat didn't like Allure Homme Sport, look at its reaction, LOL
I definitely agree, Edition Blanche is the most interesting out of the bunch. I find most of them smell very similar with mild differences, but the Blanche brings in this amazing lemon pie smell
Edition Blanche is exclusive for Summer. I wear Eau Extreme all year round. By far the most versatile fragrance I have and it is the overal best fragrance I have. Out of 250
My favorite is allure homme sport, and Blanche. Got the 5.1 bottles just a few days ago from the Chanel site.
Кошка вАХУе вообще...а Вам ПОХУЙ!
hi dimitri! I love this smell, but I am wondering if it might smell too mature for me as a 24 year old? what you think
The original is the best and has gotten me crazy reactions!
If this came out in 2020 no one would say it is a smell from the 90's unless they know the fragrance. It will also be modern forever like u said. there is nothing trendy about this. even when it came it nothing smelled similar. I do enjoy the edp sport and edt sport for summer though. this one i prefer for the cooler months. in the heat to much vannila and benzoin come to the front and becomes a little ont he sweet side. winter i get a fruity citrus and plenty of woody notes. or uk london weather this is perfect for all season except summer. but summer night time it still works for me.
Can you do a video of where you buy your fragnances since you're in europe? (european version ofc)
Have you tried Guerlain l'homme Ideal EDT version. I would say it's in the similar type of category. that one is more on the boozy almond side but opens with a nice orangy citrus.
l have bought it today and l understand your excitement, the perfume is really that good!
I absolutely love Allure for woman. Maybe I should test the homme version as well. For example I do wear Dior Intense and love it. So Allure homme in to test list :)
Would you still suggest this fragrance in 2020? It's been watered down and it's performance is way below average. I'm having hard time choosing between Allure or Allure sport or Allure sport extreme.
Fantastic recommendation. This fragrance brings back some great memories of my teenage years/early 20's spending all night in clubs.
Back then the fragrances of choice for the majority were Joop/Le Male but the girls used to love this.
Loving your reviews, Dimitri; you've fast become my favourite reviewer.
Hey dimitri , i used an allure bottle in the 90's when i was a kid but the bottle was thin and taller , it smelled great but I doubt it was the men's one
I think it was for women but it didn't smell feminine at all and I didn't know 😂😂😂...it got me a lot of compliments from girls back then ...did u smell it before?
I love Chanel Pour Monsieur EDP. (Have you tried it? Your thoughts?) This review of Allure Homme has made me very curious. I’ll be trying it next. Thanks!
best review yet
Does the current formulation last longer than a couple of hours though? I've heard it's not long lasting...
Great review after hearing this I believe I found my signature fragrance. Do you believe it's better than Creed Aventus
Cracking job buddy, have a sub ✌️
You’ve got a very nice channel here, I look forward to seeing more from you. Subbed :)
Fantastic to see a review from you 😍 As a chef, I imagine you have a very highly developed sense of smell, and I can’t wait to see what more reviews and impressions you come up with 😄
