Update since video was recorded. It is possible to use Philips Sonicare original or Sonicare compatible brush heads with this AquaSonic toothbrush handle.
I bought this toothbrush for my husband on a Amazon lightning deal for $25 last June (8 months ago). We both had Oral-B electric toothbrushes and they had completely stopped working after a few years. I actually upgraded to the Phillips Sonicare Diamondclean for my main toothbrush and a Phillips Healthywhite (back-up toothbrush for guest bathroom). I like having a toothbrush downstairs for convenience.My husband didnt want to spend so much, so I thought I would try this out since it was such a great price.We bought it last June (8 months ago), and it still works great. The bristles are great quality. My husband loves that its waterproof, and keeps it in the shower. His toothbrush has never died, the battery life is longer than my Philips Sonicare. When I need to charge ky toothbrush (about once a month) then I will charge his the same time. Love that it comes with a base, but we do not need to take up counterspace or leave it plugged in alm the time.Also, I am not worried about getting replacement heads, I am sure there are plenty of options available if he runs out.Also, the biggest plus is that my husband likes it much better than our Oral-B toothbrush.The aquasonic toothbrush is the same size as my Phillips diamondclean. Additionally, I think he likes that there are 2 buttons. It is easier to set the mode before turning on the toothbrush.
How did you not mention if It cleans your teeth good enough?
I have the Aquasonic duo and can't find replacement heads anywhere. Amazon did have them, but no more. Suggestions?

Out of the box, the brush doesn't work without stopping. Red light at tops flashes before the stop, but I can't find anything on that. Also, no contact. I paid 16.00 for a warranty but can't find any directions for using. Please help!

I can't choose between this and Philip's ProtectiveClean 4100. I really like the fact that the Aquasonic comes with more features (especially the massage mode) and a travel case at a slightly cheaper price, but I'm afraid of it having inferior cleaning compared to the 4100. What's your recommendation? Thank you!
I found the Aquasonic uncomfortably and annoying on my teeth and gums. I tried several times to use it and I can't. The vibration was very intense with a tinkling and a annoying ticklish feeling. It didn't hurt, but I couldn't stand the sensation..Why?! I do not know why. Maybe I'm to sensitive?

Just ordered one. Its charging now so I havent used it yet. Says needs 24 hours to charge. BUT I've found a ton of replacement brush heads now on amazon so things must've changed!
