I have a hard time to print my labels and envelops with Canon MF642Cdw; do you have any video to help? I used to use HP printers and do not have any problems to print anything, especially with single labels. I can just print one and next time come back use the old label sheet to print another one by one until finished. With this Canon printer I messed up a lot of my Avery label sheets because it doesn’t specify where to put the paper in, assumed just put in the same tray with all the printing papers but found out that the was a special slot to put just only 1 sheet in thereto print, but one more time didn’t have any instructions that suppose to have paper up or down, therefore easy to make mistake to print out the wrong side. On the top of that I just need to print one label, next time to print back another one I cannot figure how to print it correct in the second row on third column for instance. I do not have problem with other printers, just with Canon. Please help.

Huge issue with feeder duplex scan. Hard to remove paper jam without damaging the original using the feeder. When scanning 100 pages for example with the feeder so it jams at page 99, no recovery need to start all over, then jams again. Either feed with 10 pages at a time or use the glass.

This review helped me replace a toner cartridge for my MF247dw. However, I was having trouble lifting the panel to get to the cartridge and discovered my machine was too close to the wall to allow the very top to be fully engaged up to allow the next panel to be raised and it solved my problem. A little trick I learned. When the cartridge is low I get more printing out of it by shaking it a few times. I do it at least three time throughout printing.

it has no wireless radio. In other words, not only does it not support wireless networking, but it also lacks support for Wi-Fi Direct and near-field communication (NFC). Since its only two connection options are Ethernet and connecting directly to a PC via USB, several mobile options that require Wi-Fi aren't available. Even so, you still get Google Cloud Print, Apple AirPrint, Mopria Print Services, and Canon Print Business for scanning to and printing from various locations via Ethernet. (This printer completely garbage)
HI.thanks for the bad about wifi.fortunately I am ok with plugging in to the ethernet. Question.2 back hinges: when I open to the glass to put in a document one hinge on the right side is solid and has a plastic piece under the hing. The other hing on the lifts up and down. Does yours do this. I almost thought the hinge was broken but it may be this way (flexibly moving up and down) for some say you
I'm fucking PISSED! I just ordered this SAME printer and it's not wifi. I had NO IDEA why the option to setup wirelessly didn't show up. The description specifically said wireless or I would have NEVER ordered it. Thank you for the video. I see you cut the video off where the network settings don't say wireless. I hate this printer. I'm pissed the hell off.
