That 75-300 isn't meant for videography. It is a stills lens.

you are a kinda professional, I've canon t3i 600D kiss x5 and 75-300mm lense and when I switch this to auto focus it doesnt take any photo its just focusing on a subject. I need your help bro m pretty much confused.

I do not really like this lens but it is a very well done lens, it is the longest cheap lens you could get for canon if your matter is a long reach, the fancy glammorous 70-200 is well.... 200, not 300, the 55-250 is my favorite it think is far better.... but is not full frame and yet it is shorter at 250mm, also pricer due to that image stabilization xD but the 70-300 with image stabilization is even more expensive. Once a different lens cover that 300mm line, it is going to be horrible expensive.
Appreciate your honesty. I definitely went with the Canon EOS rebel T7 premium kit Camera with 2 lenses cause it was what I could afford. Hopefully in a year or so I will have saved up for something better, but for now its definitely working for me. Thanks for sharing

I am with you on the "Red Ring" "L" Lenses. $1,000.00+ for a lens, no thanks. I have to buy groceries and pay a mortgage. Lots of Consumer grade lenses out there that work for me. The EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM is one of my favorite. But, I have the 75-300mm like yours. I like the IS version better because 300mm is quite long and really needs IS.
