THIS LENS SHOCKED ME!...Canon 18-135mm NANO USM IS
How it's this shit quality?!?!
It is super sharp. My favorite walk around lens for the last 10 years. Pretty expensive, but is worth it
Thank you for every useful video. Kindly do you recommend this lens to be used (+ Metabones T Speed Booster ULTRA 0.71x) with a BMPCC4K?
for the last hour ive been researching a good superzoom lens to upgrade to from my kit for travel video footage and I think I just found the one. I cam across your channel just now whilst looking into all this and I cant tell you how helpful they are! incredible! consider me subbed and more than willing to hear any and all recommendations you have for other upgrades. Thanks!!
how good is this usm vs the newest stm 18-55/135?
This one vs the new 18-135mm? for video work?
I have both Canon and Nikon DSLRs, I found Nikon's 16-85mm lens superior in image quality, but Canon's IS better.
Thank you Chris, Will this be a good option for EOS M6 Markii to upgrade from it's kit lens i.e. 15-45mm considering the high resolution sensor.
what's sharper, this lens or Sony E18-135?
Excellent review, Christopher. I use this lens on the Blackmagic 6k pocket camera (with aps-c senosor) and I find it to be every thing you say it is and more. It and the 50-200mm are the two I take with me. The in-lens stabilization is excellent---better than the vast number of cameras with sensor stabilization. Alas, Canon is right---in-lens stabilization is not fraught with so many of the problems you find with sensor stabilized images. Thanks for such a great review.
Cannot decide between this and sigma 15-50! Sigma is faster but smaller length. I primarily want it for landscape photography but fast for portraits is nice too. Also the IS seems better on Canon. I use T7i. What do you guys think
Hi. Please can you tell me what is best portrait canon lens and affordable. Note please my camera its canon eos 7d Thanks for any help
Best channel
I am seeing this lens very well priced used now in excellent condition now. In terms of used if I was looking at the 18-135 Nano or this one which would be best deal for overall on a Canon 7D... I don't plan to upgrade my body just want a good quality clear lens and this one looks great in this review
Really great, and honest review. Thanks.
So then here is my question. I am a retired Hasselblad wedding photographer. I now own a Canon 90d. Is this lens a good match. I mostly am doing vacation, sports non game portraits, and family. I get out holiday images printed to 5x7 and put them in an album. Is this older lens still a good match for the 90d. I am not interested in 24-70 2.8 to heavy for me now. I value your opinions and reviews. Thank you for giving us an idea of the selections that are out there. The Hassy was easier, great camera, 60 and 80mm a few film backs, a Quantum flash and you are ready to go. Thanks again for what you do for us. Getting married this year?
How well will this perform on a Canon EOS 50m mirrorless camara?
Hello Sir. Can You Update the review of this lens on your more Standard Test this days. This is Great option for Fuji now that Fringer has an adapter for Canon... Cheers!
Looks like Christopher does not take tme to respond to anyone, so I guess hold your comments or get answers elswhere.
Do you still recommended? 6 years later?
Can i use this lens on a t6??
I've been binge watching all of your videos again. I had an EOS M ages ago and got rid of it, I now have another one turning up this week from eBay and will be starting my channel properly and really trying to get the most out of it! Keep these videos going man they are really really good!
Hi Zeek, I have an EOS M (first generation) and i''m considering buying an autofocus lens, aside to my vintage lenses. By what you are saying in this clip, video on EOS M function is not really doing it. What is happening there, that it doesnt do it? Question is: does it worth spending 200 euros on smth that will work at its half capacity? Cheers!
My camera mount is ef-s I saw on the lens in this video that it's a ef-s would I need an adapter for this lens or not? I'll be getting a new camera in the a few years so I should put up an adapter for this lens in the future anyway. I have the 17-85mm but I think it has a focus problem. But when I'm out in the park I went beyond the 50mm mark and I focused fine but a few days ago I was shooting some of my brothers toys he got for Christmas and it was low lighting and iso was 1600 or 3000 and I couldn't focus when I zoom in more.
That videos clips and music in the background blends so lovely 😊
Dang, nice! With the viltrox ef to eos-m speedbooster, the f3.5 would go down to f2.8?
Will this work on my black Magic 6k?
Thank you for every useful information Kindly do you recommend this lens to be used with a BMPCC4K (with Metabones T Speed Booster ULTRA 0.71x)? Thanks
Waho So Good Price Leans
Will this work with canon sl2? Apologies for the naivety, I’m new to this.
I've only recently found this channel. What an awesome change it is to see someone on such a cheap camera making awesome looking content. There are so many youtubers with 10-20x more expensive cameras who can't get these results.
How was it with hand held vlogging?
I always use my ef 50mm 1.8 lens with my viltrox speed booster and the results are fantastic. Takes it down to 1.2 and I love taking it out at night 😄
wow i got to have this lens i never knew that the lens was capable of image stabilization and it makes the picture quality great and i can't wait to buy myself one and start taking pictures with it. i want to buy this lens along with the 17-55. i'm getting the 35mm the 50mm and the 85mm. i think with a better lens and a more up to date camera body i will be straight.
Hi Zeek! The video samples at 3:25 onwards shot from (I presume) the EOS M with the 18-135 looks really great. I like the dynamic range capability. Did you color grade the footages or were these footages straight out of the camera?
How can you treat it like a prime lens? lol
well, I think after using this lens for a long time and also looking at your video, the lens is darker than its real aperture says. I mean if you shoot at f3.5 you get a T-stop of about f4.0. it works best at f5.6 and that is dark for shots in dim lighting conditions like in most rooms at events which means u have to up your ISO and use slow shutter speeds to get decent images. the autofocus is good for both video and stills. Its images are a bit dull and one has to do a lot more in post-processing to brighten the images up be it photo or video. in your case it works best on the EOS-M because is a mirrorless camera, it is not too good on the 80D, it is ok on the canon 7Dmark2 its OK. I don't have a 90D to test on it. I have two copies of the lens, I bought them the same time for my 80D and 7Dmark2 mainly for event video shoots. I have since switched to Fuji XT3. So the shocking you are talking about. hmmmmm,
Can u please suggest me which to choose 55/250 or 18/135 as I got ma kit lens, and on m50 18/135 might become something 28/216 and 88/450 or somethinh, thank you
I first neglected it because it came with the 80D as a kit. Was surprised to watch the reviews. Will definitely be using it much more from now on.
Can it work with wedding photography?
Can you compare 18-135 stm and nano usm. Please!
