Watching your reviews has made me decided to pull the trigger on the Samyang 18mm f2.8.
The latest Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 Sport is the best lens I've ever used. Better or equal to Canon/Nikon/Sony's own versions, and at nearly half the price on sale (got it for $999 from BH). Sigma is out of control lately.
The Sigma 14-24 was one of the sharpest lenses I've ever used, I just hate that it felt like carrying around a brick :(
For me the fuji 18-55 was and still is a big surprise. Wonderful lens! Like this video especially the last seconds. The Truth!
I'm on a budget and I can't afford some of my dream lenses. I have been fortunate enough to try the Sigma 150 to 600 contemporary, the Nikon 200 to 500, and the Canon 400 mm 5.6 L prime. The Canon 400 mm prime is one of my all-time favorite lenses. I love the size of that lens, the speed of the AF for birds and flight, the metal body, any built-in lens hood. The image quality is exceptional and is giving me some of my favorite images. I wish they would make a modern version of it that was weather sealed. VR would be nice but I don't really care about that too much. Another lens that made me fall back in love with photography is the Tamron 60 mm f2 macro. I have gotten some great images with that lens as well. I think it feels really nice even though it's made of plastic. I bought both of those lenses used and I think it was some of the best money I ever spent on photography gear.

What's the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 equivalent for Fuji? - My favourite lens at the moment is the Viltrox 23mm F1.4
The canon 55 to 250 stm lens is very sharp. I bought it on your recommendation a year ago, it was so inexpensive. I can crop it in all the way on my 7D mk 2 and read license plates from far away. I wonder what the 70 to 300 stm is like. Thanks for your videos.

I have not found a lens for my wishes yet, but maybe there is coming one out in the future. Until then, I use my Sony SEL35F18 on my Sony A6000 with another Nikon50mmF1.8 (manual, from 1996) adopted. Why people worry about barrel distortion when buying this wide lens lol. I don't think i ever seen 8mm or 18mm without barrel distortion. Just go for 50mm if you worry about barrel distortion too much.
