How to Block the Wind - NDuR Mini Stove Windshield – Large and Small Review
No wind shield and " you can purchase extras" resigns this to the bin.
Now you see, I’ve been waiting for you to show this stove. I’ve actually bought a stove too use on a butane can. I’ve had issues!!!! How do I show you the issues????????
Foun this on youtube, another SOTO compact link https://youtu.be/X-SFuSbjxco
Thinking in really cold weather, could you maybe remove the heatshield, so you can use the heat to heat canister up a bit?
I have a ST320 and i feel a little overweight (and not suitable for large size cooking stuff) so i took a windmaster last year both of them are good product, i love them.
That jacket look so damn good
#TheOutdoorGearReview if you read this i have a small request, can you add on the screen a conversion from BTU to kW as you do for example with °F to °C... i really like your videos because they are helpful and this will help even more
It’s so nice, to see a product. That may not, be made in China.
Just be aware that it needs fairly flat ground. And if you're wild camping in rocky terrain like I do it's not always available.
The Japanese tend to value craftsmanship from what I have seen.
Okay, you had me hook, line and sinker until you talked price"
I still dream with the day I can import Japanese products from companies like Soto to Central America without having to pay horrible import fees
One review and now it's up $10 ftw
Another great review.
You will have to test the new pathfinder multi fuel stove system. David Canterburry stuff are awesome.
Folks the best way you can get a good review it's for you to purchase the product and find out for yourself. If for any reason you are not satisfied or it's not what you wanted, then you can just return it back for your money or exchange it for another product. That's the best review you're going to get on a product " if" You to do it yourself. As you know all people are different and we all have different taste. This review guy might have one taste, I might have another, and you may have another taste. Best thing is for you to go out there and test it for yourself. You cannot depend on somebody else to give you a review when you know very that we all have different taste. That's just my final review on this review guy review 👎👎👎
At what altitude was this boil test preformed?
Looks like a nice stove but way to heavy for my liking. I do own one Soto stove and it’s my go to stove but it’s way lighter than this one and about half the cost.
Why have I a notification that is not availiable mate are you now been censored ?!
Thorrbaekkk!! Lepas ni kena masak Soto la… Char Kuey Teow tu wajib dah hahaha.
Soto is always coming up with creative designs. I enjoy supporting them as a company for my canister stoves needs when I use them.
Cool
Butane is useless in Canada. Butane is just no good in the cold. Even in the summer it is OK afternoon and evenings but butane will have a hard time boiling water in the mornings. Right now it is -20 F and in those weather nothing beats liquid fuel pressurized stoves. At cold temps butane just will not flow. Having said that we do use butane stoves in the house for hot pots. In warmer climate, such as the Southern states, I can see why this would be a nice option.
The thumbnail pic kind of looks like the borde bomb.
I have that stove and use it in the summer months on short hike. It's a little weighty but love the platform. I did a review and you right the price turned my subscribers off. I ordered it from Japan Amazon. 👍
Look at Taras Kul...he had a special expirience with a thing like it.....
I want one, the butane is a winner in warm climates and it makes camp cooking affordable. Been looking at butane adapters to screw but not readily available. This stove looks rugged amd durable
damn! that is cool!
I kinda resembles my first backpacking stove in 72. It's a two legged regular propane cylinder stove by Primus. The third leg is the cylinder. With a green cylinder I'm good for two weeks. Still works great.
I have found the 8oz butane fuel cans at a local Asian food market for $1.59 each. You can buy the individually, in a 4 pack or a case of 28. GOD Bless you and your families
Too heavy, too bulky for me.
Hi Ernie, I've got the Chinese copy of this stove, cost me £17, while not as well built as the Soto, it is a lot cheaper and works well 👍
I'm sorry but your tests are quite fallacious, let me explain many of you "YouTubers" they try the stoves with full cans (Propanp or Butane), try to use half-full or one-third cans and you will notice a nice difference in both yield and consumption. thank you
That Japanese guy - "Tales Along the Way", who camping in a mini truck, and post videos of cooking, use an Soto stove, but with extension for the fuel bottle.
Looks a lot like the scorpion stove from the 90s. That one has a braided supply line out to a butane can and didn't have the pizo. I had the scorpion II which incorporated a small windscreen. The burner looks really similar though, and this seems to cook much like those stoves. Thanks for sharing!
Yep a butane adapter for your hiking stove is way cheaper. Have fun be safe.
Looks like a great base camp or cabin in the woods stove. 2 of those and you could cook a pretty decent meal for the tribe. Thanks for sharing!
When you showed the close up of it you could see the quality. Beautiful stove
Yes, it is a very popular stove in Japan Hong Kong. Many accesories are available as other said. Silicon tubes for legs, pizeo ignitor extender switch, windshield, canvas case, tables from other manufacturers. There is a black version and a limited realtree version. You can also use a 60mm cookie cutter as a small windshield
The heat spreading out is a good thing when using a frypan so everything cooks at about the same time. Great Video have a great safe Christmas. Cheers from Aus.
Thank you my good teacher in English and outdoor 💘💘💘
I'm bald, but that hair comes everywhere else ha, ha!
I noticed these are so floppy that in higher winds they still move around alot. So I made my own with thicker wider panels. Works way better.
What brand name is your cookware set?
Hi! I'm curious about the storage bag on the right at 2:21, I have been looking for one of those for small gear and this one looks nice.
Great price really my Redcamp alcohol and canister stove is way cheaper than that i think ill make my own windscreen and save some money
Just fold over the top of the bag, slide the screen into the bottom section, fold back up the top... problem solved!
how do u prevent the pins from falling off?
What about wind cowls for hot tent stoves anyone heard if any exists yet 🧐?
Wind screens are a necessity in Texas. But like you said in rocky areas they don't do well. The wind will push the screen around if I don't reinforce it some how. Great review Luke!
Great review! Thanks
Not just strength & honor but honesty, thank you Luke.
I have the Redcamp ones from Amazon works good. 🌲👍 I've only tried them once in the yard to see how it works . I'm happy with them.
Great review
Would love to see more trips with the minimalist in heavy rain! Awesome jacket
I am unable to find the large one on the website. And I found them on that other place that starts with an A and they want $30 for the large one
I will get one for the stick stove. Ty
Good call about the bag. I totally agree. After snagging my screen one too many times on the bag, it may have ended up in with the kindling.
What is that little table inder the stove? Link?
Timely review. I have just bought a stove that came with a similar screen. I will go out to the shed tomorrow and stamp the legs in the same way. Yes the bag is horrible. The screen catches on the seam on the inside of the bag. Solution, turn the bag inside out. Simples ;-)
