I have literally purchased over $1000 worth of the old built bars. These new built bars are disgusting. The texture is horrible. I will never order again. Are you getting paid for this? I have talked to no one that likes these.

Hi Thomas, since this video from April/20 Costco has changed some of the ingredients for their Kirkland Protein bars. I had not purchased them for a long while until yesterday when I realized the changes. The new ingredients that worried me because I do not know exactly what they mean, and sound awful are: "Soluble Corn Fiber" and "Isomalto-oligosaccharides" . When you have a chance could you please enlighten us on those? I much appreciate your help. Always!

You should get the ONE protein bars. They're the healthiest I've come across.
Thomas, just got a box of Costco peanut butter protein bars. Used to say 4 net carbs, but now they are 11 net carbs. Taste the same. Ingredients the same. Makes me wonder if they underestimated the original bars.

Kirkland bars just changed their recipe. FlavCity says to avoid them now because of isomalto-oligosaccharide added to the ingredient list. What are your thoughts?

I've been a fan of protein bars for years. Most bars used whey protein as a base, some use soy. I ate an almond chocolate. This is the first bar that adds a rather large amount of gelatin as a protein. Imagine dried gelatin. The texture because of the gelatin was quite repulsive. After all gelatin is derived from cow skin. Moreover the dark chocolate had a STRONG bitter aftertaste. Overall, I would rate the bar as NASTY !! Much easier to take your favorite peanut butter, microwave a few seconds until warm, sift in a generous amount of your favorite protein powder. Stir well. Then add some chocolate chips and stir. Tasty protein. Built bars cost $1.88 each with FREE shipping. Too much for a tiny bar. I say do it yourself. !!!!
They are also different shape. More uniform.. every bar I have tried is the exact same size. No missing chocolate. Better than old ones.. shape wise

So I ended up buying a bunch last time I commented on one of your videos..I actually really like them! I put one in the microwave and it had a brownie consistency had it with some ice cream :) I wish they would make their bars more like a nougat consistency! THANKS for sharing about the new ones!!
