Great review. I have a question. If I were to plug in my audio interface to this adaptor and plug in the adaptor to the Macbook, my audio interface wouldn't be powered by the Macbook right? It will be powered by the adaptor yes?

How many USB channels are there per port?
Are there USB hubs that provide more than 2.1A current? That seems like the max for all of these, and I'm looking for one that provides 3-4A. Maybe doesn't exist? Or if there are no other devices present, will one of the IQ ports on this provide that level of current to one USB port?
I just got an RSHTECH USB Hub and neither of my Macs (Catalina) recognize it with external hard drives in it. The power and port light are on, but nothings happening.

See I have one but it uses the xbox for power but didn't know if that's enough power for my tx wheel and fanatec v3 pedals plus shifter wot you think lol
