I got a John deer z425 love it fast enough
Hello, I have this exact mower which was purchased about 3 yrs. ago. However I have a hydraulic leak on the left side and mower isn't in warranty anymore. The cost is un-real in repair. I'm very un-pleased with John Deere as far as something this major having to be repaired so soon. I'm under 150 miles. So be careful and think clearly before purchasing a John Deere.
Any updates? I'm considering a used 2014 Z425 with 20 hours, would appreciate your input having owned one for 2 years now. Thanks.
Ja sam kupio isto z 425 ali na mom pise da ima 20 hp
A motor is electric/hydraulic powered and an engine is fuel powered....
Can anyone show the John Deere headlights installed on the Z425? Very happy since I started mowing with it,,,
I have this mower and I love it. I mow 3 acres a week in a fraction of the time that I did with the same size Cub Cadet. I have wanted a John Deere Product for a long time. I use a mow jack lift I did with my Cub Cadet to keep things very clean. This is a great mower!
You look to have a nice mower to cut with. Please work on getting your yard to look better.
I'm actually giving serious thought to purchasing this unit. Do you find the side discharge big enough to avoid the grass lines when you mow? Also, is the oil changing process fairly simple on it..i.e. did they put an oil drain line on it for easy drain? Thanks in advance.
Does this mower cause scalping with the deck moving around up and down while cutting
your grass looks soo patchy. No way that stripping kit does much. Compared to my older 757, this mower looks very cheap. I personally would not buy another JD
While I like the mower, I am disappointed in the quality from JD. So far, at 16 hours the tension spring for the drive broke and then the RH parking brake broke. The design at the front is not handy (not symmetrical) for lifting the mower for routine maintenance. Also, the water sprayer/cleaner thing is next to useless - although since it looks like about a $5 part, I hope it does not add too much to the cost of the mower.
If they could have put a fuel low indicator in, they could have easily put in a gauge instead. This is just being cheap for the sake of being cheap.
How to change a drive belt on the z335e john deere.
At what psi should the tires be on the z335e
These mowers are a fucking nightmare to cold start.
Great video. I also want to mention that I thought the guy talking was going to be a super young guy, but nope. lol Again, great video.
How's this mower with hills?
I have a question. Say your mower will not crank. You decide to loan it on your trailer to see what’s wrong. The mower is in gear and you cannot push it up on the trailer. Is there a way to take it out of fear to manually push the mower?
thanks mate a great help
I liked the fact that it was easy to replace➰➰>lnfo.help/BackSeat?列 the rod for the hinge was exact fit and the safety switch was very easy to install too. It was exact as the original.
how do you get a brand new 345 to go into gerar. Just bought to from Home Depot and it does not go into gear.
Great video thx! Nice weenie 😂 cameo
Nice video, very informative. 👍🏻
How did I get here? I was watching a video on giraffes three hours ago
Will it fit throught a 46" gate??
Perfect video tutorial....thanks a million
GREAT MUSIC!!! I was so busy shaking my booty to the music playing through the whole video, I didn't pay any attention to a fucking thing you were saying!
Hi up to how many acres would you recommend this machine for as I am on 3 acres
Does this mower have a hydraulic oil system? I just wanted to make sure if yes or no because idk where to find it and all my other mowers have one
Very hard to understand his language (accent?)
ExMark by far the best mower out there. John deere alright for home. But u wanna mow some yards get ya a ExMark!!!
The neighbors see me driving around a green mower and know I'm well-to-do.
Deciding Factor: Where can you take it for service?
Do a comparison of a kubota zero turn mower against a John deere zero turn. I can't seem to find this comparison anywhere on YouTube.
Yep nothing about comparing the two
Not that I’m knocking toro, but this looks like a toro advertisement, not a comparison. Marks off for this.
Why would toro go against jd
I like john Deere but toro is cheaper and better you're paying for the name on john Deere I'm using this for lawn care residential and one commercial
Not bashing on toro but I have not heard any good things about them and many of the people that I have talk to have been considering getting rid of it and buying a Deere
The Deere has quarter inch of height adjustment. And the mulching kit comes with a mulch on demand lever, and flip up spindle covers. You won't find those things on the Toro. And don't the handles work to slow the mower down, making the tow and go feature useless? Also, a residential mower does not need to built like a tank to last a lifetime. If a pressed deck can be dented, it can be banged out. My Z353e gives a great cut. And less of a wind row then the aftermarket OCDC's on fabricated decks. It's almost as fast as my Exmark Pioneer S series. The steering dampers do make you want to go slower then you could. Maybe they'll loosen up over time. I have to keep reminding myself I can go faster. It's a bit light in the back and seems to be part of the reason I'm getting tire spin. That and operator error.
A couple points:
1. 2hp is nothing. The Toro with the 22 hp Kohler is $2,799 compared to the 20 hp Deere at $2,499. Toro also makes a 20 hp at $2,499, so this comparison is BS to begin with. Be honest guys. The 20 hp Toro engine is just 452cc compared to the 20 hp Briggs on the Deere, which is 656cc. That is actually closer to the 22 hp (16 kw) 725cc Kohler® V-Twin Engine on the more expensive Toro, making the 2 hp comparison even more laughable.
2. I've used the Smart Speed tech. It is pointless. After testing it, I never used it again.
3. The Deere has sealed ball bearings, not plastic bushings.
4. It is good the Toro has a 3-year warranty because their hydrostatic drives leak.
john deere for life
i have a zero turn time. cutter z5000 mower the engine fies when i put it in gear or ingage the blades dies anuone know why
green with envy lol
He didn't even go over the John Deere that much I would pick the John Deere because I own one and they have been making mowers longer than toro and a Kohler engine is the best engine I work on mowers for a living and most of the mowers I work on have a Kohler engine and I use Kohler parts too so I would pick the John Deere.
What a biased fella.
I had a older toro timecutter 42" and had lot's of problems with it, carb problems, deck problems and exhaust problems falling off. This model looks like it has evolved alot. I was looking to buy a new 42" last week and this model was around $2250 on Homedepot's website and the john deere was around 2500. Now today i went back to order the Toro and the prices were flip flopped. $2199 for the deere and $2500 for the toro. So i decided to order the deere. Had the prices been equal i would of ordered the toro. Regardless neither of these machines compare to my husqvarna
MZT-61 which i absolutely love.
get a kubota or grass hopper
2:02 - It's actually the EXACT OPPOSITE of "what it makes him think". Look at cars for example. Which cars have the longest warranty? Hyundai, Kia, etc. Why? There is a perception in the market place that the car is unreliable. So how does the marketing team overcome this perception? They offer a longer warranty so people are no longer concerned about it breaking. Make no mistake about it, an extended warranty costs the manufacturer more money. Its a costly decision to make. Businesses aren't going to spend that money unless they have to. In this case Toro MUST convince people to take a product they view as unreliable. Its not that "they stand behind it". Toyota, Honda, and John Deere don't need to run ads about their reliability because its already know in the market. And that is why companies like Toyota and John Deere don't spend the money on an extra warranty, they don't have to.
Much as I love Toro mowers, and have, for over 40 years, this is nothing more than a slick professionally-produced TV type commercial ! And I'd rather have a Briggs engine ANY DAY over Kohler, who now sources many of their engines from China !
Wow this comparison is so not true 1st the video is produced by toro so they arent going to say any thing bad about there mower 2nd the Deere is the smallest model that you can buy and the also the ''easy'' mow and go on the toro is not on the john Deere because it isn't necessary and i like the parking break on the Deere more because it is safer encase my little brother is around.
Hi 👋! How do I change my middle pully! It came loose! Don’t know why! Please make a video!
Love the inginuity!
I take my deck off each fall, and what I've been doing so far is putting the belt on the PTO, then attaching the deck to the mower. Seems to work ok. There's a guy in Michigan that makes snow plows for these types of mowers, and I put that on for winter here in Mn. Works decent, although if we get hit with a big and wet snowfall, it doesn't work great for that.
Do you have to get a deck specific to the z225 ? Would another 42 inch or larger deck fit ? Need to replace it but cant really find many options that are "meant" for the z225.
Thanks! This video was very helpful. Bought a new deck a couple of years ago. Bent the deck this fall, and after bending it back, I realized the authorized dealer installed the belts wrong. Your video showed me the right way to run the belt and the easy way to get the belt installed on the rear wheel. THANK YOU!
Rope tip was big help.....Thanks!
Awesome video!!! thank you so much!!
This video was very helpful thanks
Thanks for the video. I inherited this mower from my folks. I needed to remove the deck to straightened out a rather massive dent and your video was perfect. I have subscribed to your channel as I will probably need more help in the future. Thanks!
Thanks for showing about the tie off roap
Thank you sir.
Excellent. Thanks. Saved me some time!
My Z255 never cut worth a crap, I wish someone had a modification for that.
Sharpened blades, no help
Good video-- I'm looking to do the drive belt-
*Great little Mower>>>**t.co/UJPFmLvG6g** very happy with it*
Thanks for this great video! I did one modification that kept me from having to tie off the tension pulley. I put the belt on the back pulley before the front right pulley. From the right side of the mower, I could reach in with a hammer (or a 2x4, anything short and solid) and push the tension bar back with my left hand while easily slipping the belt over the right side pulley with my right. Another way to skin the cat.
How do you get the belt past the keeper? to tight no room
I dropped the deck on my Z225 and changed the blades and put the deck back on the mower. After I finished with that, the mower blades would not engage, and it would stall the engine. If you have any suggestions on what the problem is, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks! just made my day much easier.
