brut does not smell like a grandpa if u have style. the smell is mature but timeless. i have more girls complementing me on brut vs all the chanel and dior fragrances i own for 5 times the price. i just decant the stuff into small atomisers to make them last a bit longer and respray after lunch at work. i only got one negetaive feedback since wearing it and another person instantly disagreed with her who was with her and that kind of cancelled out the negative feedback. this stuff used to last all day when my dad used it. also has been reformulated and slightly modernised in smell. only people who smelled this in the early 90's would be able to tell though
Thanks for the review. There is a version of Brut in a square glass bottle made by unilever. It has a great atomizer for spray application and the scent is certainly Brut but more subtle with a slight barbershop sweetness. My only gripe is it could last longer.

I disagree with the smell of a grandpa. I think you feel that way because all range of ages use it. I love when my man wears it. To me, this scent is associated with what a man is supposed to smell like. Just my opinion

Any Brut you buy now contains just about 10% of the original scent ones in the Drug store smell more of Alcholol, I usualy can get the Cologne and Deodorant in the Dollar store for$7.95

brut makes an aftershave that says aftershave on it. The splash is just that a body splash. The cologne is just a slightly stronger than the splash. Then they make one with a medallion on the bottle that is stronger than the cologne and closer to original formulation. Plus my grandpa was in his thirties when brut came out. Get it together.
I like this scent, I disagree on the old grandpa scent comment. It's a manly, musk, wear during the day but you really don't give a fuck cologne, that actually smells pretty good.
People who watch this. It is not a very great review. I am an average 22 yrld and li love it. The spray on deodorant is the shit. It doesn't smell like an old person, this dude is kinda a chode. Just go to Kroger/Walmart and spray it into the lid and smell it in like 10 seconds. Why take some random guys advice on the smell? I found this video looking for a review on how well spray deodorant works cause I haven't worked out in it yet. Not trying to bash him to much, but don't listen lol
