FOR ALL OF YOU PEOPLE WHO PRINTS ENVELOPES, FLYERS, CARDS, ETC. : Please DO NOT do what this person does. Do NOT run the paper materials through the drum to the upper tray. The printer is NOT designed to do it. So I am no surprised it jams. PLEASE DO THIS INSTEAD : RUN your paper materials straight from the front to the back. 1. OPEN the feed tray UP FRONT. You will feed envelopes MANUALLY. The front TRAY accommodates a thickness of around 10 envelopes. 2. OPEN the cover on the BACK. This is where your paper materials will go. 3. OPEN the regular Letter TRAY, that you normally fill with paper. This will prevent printer from switching to this tray, since it is opened. 4. GO TO Printer settings on your PC. SET "Media type: ENVELOPE THICK" or a similar "thick" setting. This way your printer allows THICK PAPER through its rollers. That is ALL to it.

Only a brother would use a brother ; ) i have a question about this printer, ivebeen looking everywheer on the web with no success. does this printers Bypass tray allow for multiple pages to fed, if so approx how many? also when you open the bypass tray cover does it have a paper support so that ther bypass media doesnt bend down because of the lack of support? thanks brother
