Anyone who's having charging dramas,like it gets stuck at 70;p.c,play music and let the battery drain right out until it shuts down by itself,then charge again,this worked for me,charged back to 100 pc.

Please dont buy this speaker. I've had two. Its muffled piss poor sound quality the treble is lame and bass muffled, little battery life and loudness 4/10. I hate it please dont buy.

Great review down to earth. Started with the revolve sounded great but for 70 dollars more in 2019 I figured wth and got the plus. Definitely don't regret it. Replaced my sounddock that I had with a BT receiver as opposed to the ipod. Not as much bass but close and the 360 sound is sweet when moving around the room. Thanks!
I have one of these, bought after watching your review. Agree with most, but it suffers from one defect which I am not sure is breaking the Bluetooth spec. If I connect with, say, my iPhone, and then some half-an-hour later I pause the play on the iPhone - not much later the speaker drops the connection and I have to reconnect. When I reconnect, it confirms the reconnection in a loud voice, despite the settings of volume on my iPhone. Not too much of a nuisance, you might think, but all my other BT devices hold the connection till I disconnect with the iPhone or other source device. No big deal, but annoys me.
Thanks for the review. Do you know if it has those annoying robot voice confirmations? Like. "audio on", "audio off" , "pairing" , "connected" etc.? I've had bluetooth speakers that did that before and it drove me mad! Especially when I just wanted to use it on low volume while someone was sleeping and instead of turning on softly, it would wake them up. I know that option is available with other quality bluetooth speakers like Fugoo but I want to make sure that particular "mute" function is actually available before I purchase a new speaker. Bose earphones BLEW UP in my ears! Recently, the earphone exploded in my right ear while I was asleep and it caused an immense amount of throbbing pain along with the pressure. Drumming in the ears persisted for several minutes and I also went deaf for a few moments. I was stunned and found out that it was the battery that exploded. Contacted Bose straight away and of course they told me to wait. Well, guess what. The wait lasted for a month. Bose Hong Kong (I bought the earphones in Hong Kong and am still living in Hong Kong.) never had the intention to offer any compensation. I was outraged that Bose actually had the audacity to demand that I return the earphones, charging case and power cable. Not only do Bose sell defective products, they concealed the safety issues that could endanger their customers. Way too much bass, no crispness and clarity of sound. Piano sounds awful. I returned it and got Sony instead for less money

Bose revolve is FREAKING SUCK! The connection is so bad, it took me over 15’ trying to connect it with my ipad but still couldn’t. Hate it!
This is an amazing little speaker but my only gripe is you can't connect it to another Bose speaker like a Soundbar for example.

Hello! I have 2 of this. Sometimes they stop working after a few minutes (even with a 100% charge) of listening to music, then I have to turn it off and the back on. Very annoying but it doesn't happen all the time, some times they play for hour. Any solution? Thanks

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BUYING IT ! Bose removed OFF state from Bose Soundlink Revolve Plus. Yep so you can never turn this device OFF. Pressing the power btn now switch this device into Bluetooth Low Energy mode and whenever there is a new device comes in the range you will here the it will turn itself on and yells "connected to blah blah blah". This issue was initially posted in 2018 and now we are at the end of 2020. Guess wut? They haven't address it yet, and this device will still randomly turn itself on and there is no way to resolve it. If you are looking for more details about this issue, here is the link to the issue thread in Bose Community: U WANT A MELLOW SMOOTH SOUND, GET THE BOSE, IF U PREFER A SHARP PIERCING BLASTING SOUND, THEN NOT THIS ONE. One thing is it that if you lisen to bass music idk like shape of you bass boosed and those after that you can smell the voice coil wax

Not saying its a bad product or anything, but 300 is overpriced. I used to have the harman kardon onyx 4, and its audio performance was better in every single way for the fraction of the cost. Not trying to hate too much on bose because the product itself is nice, but shop around. You dont have to pay 300 for that level of quality

Why nobody talking about no equalizer on the Bose app?
I just received mine and honestly I am disappointed. It's Bose and the app has *no equalizer.* The default base is a bit much on every single song. Is there any app that will allow me to control the sound quality. If I knew there was no equalizer on the app, I wouldn't have ordered.
I have a pair of these and love them! Rechargeable batteries last a long time. For extra bass boost, put them in the corner of the room.

Even though it is TECHNICALLY IPX4 speak resistant from "by angle, please trust the advice from MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT LET WATER GET ON IT IF IT IS ON ITS SIDE. THE WATER WILL INSTANTLY START TO SEEP IN IF YOU DO NOT SHAKE OFF THE WATER RIGHT AWAY! Also, do not place it on any surfaces of extreme heat, such as a stove top that you just turned off, it will overheat the device.

I coach beach volleyball out on the beach and need a speaker that can sit in the middle of 4 courts and be heard on all of them. The Brookstone Big Blue Party Indoor Outdoor Speaker was perfect, but I had to replace it because it’s a fire hazard. I bought the JBL Boombox and it does everything we need EXCEPT it only faces one way, so you can’t hear it from the two courts behind it. What is the best replacement? I need portable, bluetooth, loud, 360 degree or at least front & back speakers so sound goes 2 opposite directions, and waterproof if possible. Budget up to $500. I'm looking at the Bose Revolve+ but am not sure it's as loud as the Big Blue Party. Does anyone have any recommendations?
