I love em. However, after a few years now, the phone part of it all doesn't work. People cannot hear me when talking. Traded them in for the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds.mistake.
Bose in Mexico warranty plan is garbage, Quiet Control 30 as soon as warranty expired was broken, and $368 dlls only for 2 year is a robbery, if you are in USA is possible it worth it because you have 5 year warranty. In Mexico never should buy Bose headphones Warranty is short and there is a lot of people complaining, direct to garbage.

The reason might be because this earphone has control panel on right side and left side is connected through the neck band. After some use of neck band itself you might notice getting disturb noise on your left earphone. I visited their store to repair it after one year and they can’t do anything unless you do trade with them to buy same new product where you get 20% off. Still you will get the same new design flaw earphone which might damage in couple of months. Worst product. Mic is also very bad. Only the good part I noticed is ANC. Personally I never recommend this design flaw product. Thanks.
Never had disconnection issues with these, they are the most comfy ANC in the market even by today’s competition
I bought a pair of these headphones as they are cheaper now. I absolutely love them. I don't have the issues of the neckband moving but I'm not wearing them on a bare neck. I think 10 hours is plenty and any more really would make them heavier and larger. On flights, I carry an Anker charger pack and would prefer to charge things in breaks than always have a way heavier neckband. If you had a longer cable you could even charge these while wearing them. I think they made the right choice as I use these on long hikes and the extra weight would be noticeable and a poor trade-off for the exceptional time you need more than ten hours. Excellent review though.
The neck battery design issue is very pronounced. Constantly having to balance.

I had two of these disintegrate on me in the space of 18 months. NC and sound was great, but what's the point when the neckband falls to pieces after 6-8 months of use? Not worth the money.

After VERY LITTLE use, The RIGHT channel (microphone side) died! The earpieces fell off on a flight I was taking and I had to go to Amazon to find replacements. I had given up on them until recently but discovered BOSE would replace them at no cost. Keep your box with the SN because you'll need it to send them back! They really should replace them considering how much they cost. I would not buy again.

I purchased mine September 2018 for $420.00. I used it maybe once and put it away. Used it again and received a message on the app that the battery was dying after about 15 minutes. Tried the troubleshootingnothing doing. Kicking myself that I did not use the warranty before it ran out. Bose website offered to have it back for a replacement, but I have to pay for it. Replacement offer was about $200.00. Forget that! I have a sour taste in my mouth for Bose now.
So is the call quality "pretty excellent" or "pretty well"? I am looking for a mic that is reliable and excellent in terms of the receiver hearing me.
I operate the Bose juke box product found in pubs and restaurants. I listened to your review and was looking for a comment on determination of design. I purchased the QC30 specifically for the environmental noise control. Great product that does bring other sound benefits for anyone outside of a studio environment. My day consists of street traffic, pub environment, cell phone talk etc. and I love this headset. The BOSE logo is good for me to have discretely displayed on its headband because of my main product which is awesome in all of the above situations.

I’ve used Bose headphones for years until they literally fell apart. Then I tried these. Big mistake. I purchased 2 months ago in Aug of 2019, and they’re already malfunctioning. Now not returnable, of course. Will not charge or connect to devices. $310 wasted on this garbage.

I bought it from the review without trying it first and it appears that Bose's earbuds are too large. I cannot put them in my ear. Later I found Huawei's bluetooth which is more comfortable. It's sound quality is very good with the price 10 times cheaper and lighter.

I’ve had these for years and the main issue with these headphones is tasking phone calls. When I have these on and I take a phone call the person the other end can never hear me. It’s a serious issue, since I got another one since it was under warranty, and the phone call issue was still present. It’s good for the gym and listening to music, but totally useless for taking phone calls.
I love mine better than the others. They sound great on an android. Very happy

Im so disappointed with Bose. I have owned several pairs, over the ear and in ear. They have all fell apart after normal usage.These are my latest. Last year they fell apart, the rubber casing, and they power controls under the rubber casing fell apart. due to catching moisture from my neck. I don't work out with them on, but in hot tropical environments they will absorb sweat just from normal usage, Bose replaced them for me last year when I was in Sri Lanka. They lasted about 6 months, and started falling apart again. Now they want $195 CDN to replace them as they are out of warranty. This is a design issue. why would I want to spend more and end up with the same issue again? Im done with Bose.

These are my favorite headphones! The noise canceling is so good. I ended up losing them and thought I would try the sony blah blah mx3 ear buds instead. The noise cancelling was no way near as good and they fall out of my ears. I just found a secondhand pair of boseqc30 cheap and going to sell the sony ones. The sound on the sony ones is better but I really enjoy the noise cancelling of the bose more.

Dude you should review the "Bose hearphones". They are marketed as noise enhancing earphones (which seems like version 2 QC30). But they also are nosie canceling phones. Or are they? That's why we need you.
Wonder when they will do a Truly Wireless version for the QC line. They kind of need too, the Sport Free ones are lacking and these suck. Plus Sony literally just released a product to beat Bose in this area so Bose need to hit back. QC35TW? hell even a SoundLink TW would be acceptable.

First pair went bad within 2 weeks of purchase. Right ear speaker made a loud noise The mic picked up ambient noise to the point that callers could not hear me. Bose had me do a reset but that did not help. Bose replaced them with a new pair. They work well EXCEPT for the mic. It still picks up ambient noise and makes it impossible for person at the other end to hear legibly. For $300, I expected better quality mic. Read reviews before buying.
I thought noise cancelling means the background noise is eliminated for the other guy to hear me. But it seems your idea of noise cancelling is about noise around me being blocked so that I can hear.
the microphone on this is terrible, its because they use the same mic for noise cancelling and talking over phone. The Bose forum has a 40 page thread about customers complaining about the microphone, you can literally hear a bird chirping 50 yards away better than your own voice.

Great Review! I've had the QC20 in-ear wired headphones for 4 years and love them.I've been looking for a BT version and this is pretty much what I'm looking for, but the 15 hr. Battery in NC mode of the QC20s will keep me hooked on them for my Long-haul Trans-Pacific flights and to use IFE. Everyday music and in bed Movie watching, these would be a major improvement, because any ear-bud without silicone does NOT work for me. EarPods and Airpods fall out in less than 5 min.

They sound great! .but you'll get about 6 months out of them before the malfunctions start and they will be sent back to the factory for repair or replacement. I am about to send mine back for the second time within a year. For $300.00, I would expect them to last longer.

I've had Bose QC20 for over 2 years, and they have more than paid for themselves. Before I got these, I was going through a set of $25 earbuds each and every month. Bose knows how to build a lasting product. Well worth the investment.
