Wtf, why do you need these noise cancellation bs, when you can just get great isolation from Sennheiser Momentums and literally not hear a thing on the outside world. Don't need a huge battery pack like that, looks 1990s walkway hideous along with the earbuds. Bose would have lost a lot of sales just on the earbud design.

Just found a pair of these while I was walking past a bus stop. My jaw dropped when you said they were $300+ (Idk what they are now) $free.99 for me tho. Work on my ps4 and keeps the distractions to a minimum. Great review just one thing missing explanation on how the noise canceling works and how to turn that function on or off. Does it also use the mic to play voices from outside of the earbuds when the sound cancellation is off like others on the market

Found a pair of these laying around at school. Nobody was there and no name. Popped the ear cups off, ordered new ones and washed the buds and good as new. Nearly shat myself when I looked them up and saw how expensive they were. Sorry to whoever lost them they were fucking amazing earbuds

Still have my Bose QuietComfort 15s. They work perfectly after 6 years, but the ear cushions did get worn out (along with the cable), so I'm just replacing those. These do make me feel tempted because of the fact that they're better to wear… but that big battery pack near the headphone jack is a huge turnoff.

I'm sure you can come up with a way to open and replace that battery.
the design is suks. Bose done a very poor job when they put the battery-pack near the 3.5mm jack. which makes it useless for sport or daily uses and chances it will snap by accident or due to movement. the battery-pack and the controls piece should be combined together and clipped on the collar of our shirts right below our chins. the current design is only useful in long flights. and even that is not comfortable.

People think $300 is a lot but it's really not for what you get. just got these after having QC 15's for awhile and the noise cancelling does decrease a little but not too badly. Highly recommend
I have the Bose IE2 and they're excellent. Going to be buying these when I get the money. Bet they're worth the $300.

These are great for gaming, I would never regret buying them.
One thing that isn't much recognised is when compared to other top end units. With these, you won't hear your own heart beat, rustling of cable noise, body movement sounds such as footsteps through vibrations. The only bad thing is in thailand weather the rubber plastics fall apart after a few years, like the oils stuff up. But i haven't been able to find anything practically better

I know this is an older video, but when ANC was turned off for your QC20s, could you perceive a noticeable downgrade in sound quality? Where the sound is kinda muddy/unclear.
Using it for years, saved me many times. At the hospital when you have to share a room with noisy people. On a plane. On countless daily commutes. Yes they may not be audiophile or hifi. But the noise protection is such a killer feature, and the battery will last an entire intercontinental flight . I still love these earbuds.
Unfortunately the Android version is 100€ more expensive than the iOS Version, which sucks.
If you still want them but you have an iPhone 7 or up you can just use the adapter that comes with the phones
Be careful while washing those earbud tips because I was not being gentle with tips while washing them and one of them broke. It was my fault. Not blaming Bose.
FYI: Any of these small battery does not hold up well on more than 1 Amp charger. I have my QC20 since they first come out and I have no issue. Good luck.
