I’ve used this tool to make a walk over threshold for an extension cord for work. I moored a notch on the bottom very carefully and contoured the edges of the 2x6 on the top side. Worked like a charm. I think you use that tool dangerously on edge like that.

Stumpy Nubs made a video about one of those and said that it should never and I repeat never ever be used no letter what, he almost cut off his fingers but was lucky enough to only be skimmed by it, but still injured enough to cause his hand to be partially immobile.

I used to have four fingers and a thumb now I have two fingers and half of thumb.
If anyone is curious it won’t actually chop your leg off. I had to get 24 inches of stitches in my leg. I used the tool for under 2 seconds on press board. The moment I touched the wood it kicked back super hard and into my right shin. For clarity. I use an angle grinder at work at least 6 hours a week on metal. I’m not a moron. This tool should not be sold at harbor freight or Lowe’s.
When it says "Use in any direction" it means you can cut with wood grain or across the wood grain. You have way too many negative remarks before actually using the product or knowing what it is used for. I find it very annoying.

Very informative video. But I think one important thing is missing and that is how to place upper and bottom flange, which side towards disc when attaching different types of discs. Like paper disc and grinding disc has different flange position.

I have recently discovered blending disks from Coventry grinders - absolutely superb and they give a much better finish than flap disks.

Nice, well done lad. Great tool, been using for 25 years. Metal fab mostly, but you learned on me a bit, the stone set up is good news. Don't know about the chain saw deal, I like a throttle when I work wood.

I iust used 24 grit sanding disk to stip the paint off my porch before I painted it. I was able to to a 10 by 22 foot porch in 5 hours. Considering chemical stippers weren't doing anything after 1 hour, I thing that is really good. You do have to have a light touch as I also use those same 24 grit sanding disk to carve wood so the slightest slip and you have just gouged the floor.
Won't be surprised if they come out with a planing attachment or a router lol
Lol their a lot of near accident on the wear of your gloves hahaha ! you can guess what they were used for pretty fast ! Hate these metal brush they are so useful removing paint and rust but impossible to use without pricking your fingers manipulating them in your tool drawers !
