Hi Gaurav... Great review...Need one small clarification on the 7 KG limit on one dumbell for vertical grip. My understanding is that it is 7 KG each side on the dumbell so a total of 14 KG plates on the dumbell plus 2 KG rod weight (total 16 KG in one hand) . Correct? Or is it 7 KG in total (3.5 KG plates on each side) plus 2 KG rod weight and thus 9 KG in one hand?

Update - decathlon is no longer supplying this in the plastic carry case. I just bought it from their store, the weights are just packed in a thermocole container inside a cardboard carton. Unfortunate, since the plastic case was one of the reasons I opted for this product instead of other cheaper options..Btw, aren't these weights too less to do bench press/ floor press ?

I went and checked myself at Decathlon store. It's an awesome solid product but I don't like the iron plates, especially 2kg ones. They are so big for dumbbells and won't be comfortable while using them. Also, iron plates are not that safe and I prefer rubber ones. What I'm thinking is - configuring the weights. I will buy the rubber plates (1.25kg x 12), dumbbell rods, and locks separately. It would be little expensive but I guess it's much better than the iron weights. What do you suggest, Gaurav?

Instead of buying extra plate and rod, u had to bought 50kg kit.
