I was a Blackberry/RIM gal for many many moons and just recently switched to a galaxy. I find Blackberrys to be more sophisticated in their operating systems. Its honestly a niche market, cult classics. Everything else feels so basic the masses appeals to the social media people I suppose
Because they are using blackberry keyone wrong. First of all if you like high end games this is not for you but you can play games in a keyone like need for 4 speed etc 2nd its a business phone, I type my reports in this phone, I message and chat people here easy 3rd shortcuts shortcuts shortcuts 4th just look at it Its different and its good

Bought this from ebay as I longed for a physical keyboard. It feels serious even running Android. It is email and touch typing plus a bit of fun as I have also downloaded Mario Kart. Also works like a boss on Zoom, better than my Nexus tablet, better than my Samsung phone and better than my PC. Plus it has a privacy shade and a redactator and an app locker for an extra layer of sign in protection for apps that really matter like your banking apps. You can assign app etc shortcuts to keys, take a snap with the space bar, a convenience key and an notification light - the list seems endless! RESPECT!
the rear camera can be really good if you find a way to turn off the whole DNR software. For very detailed photos maybe not so food but still really good for videos. Especially when you chose the option of higher bitrate. And if you want a phone with physical keys to type on, there's not really much options anyway.

The worst phone I ever owned. Called 911 at least 90 times, even with phone locked, don't get text messages till an hour later I called my carrier it is the phone. Even called blackberry and said there is nothing we can do Never again will I own a blackberry

I bought this phone for the keyboard, but to call or text it's horrible. Drops calls no it's not my carrier. It has dialed 911 over 25 times on its on I really hate this phone

And just so you guys all know I love Blackberry it has a 40 keyboard it's easy to type easy to do everything I love it but I don't like the fact that it's that if you have water sprayed on it or or something happens and you have dust and whatever you're going to find out that the Blackberry will be dead that's what I don't like and there's you know and there's is a difference in between the old blackberry and the new BlackBerry a difference in How It's Made and it is a big difference and how it's produced and everything like that because the old BlackBerrys used to be water resistant or waterproof up to a certain point today's blackberries aren't military grade standards the old ones definitely were anyway thanks again God bless and I hope that Blackberry takes it this advice and they make military grade standards for Blackberry that's the day I will come back to my beloved BlackBerry
There's one problem with Blackberry one that I'm aware of it's not water resistant and it is not waterproof other words if you put it into water it's going to drop dead so I'm just letting you guys know about that that was the one thing on the old Blackberry is that was a big huge thing it was at least water resistant or if not at least waterproof on the old BlackBerrys you can submerge in water nothing was going to happen today don't you dare put the Blackberry into water even if you just splash water on it by accident you can basically it's a dead piece of paper weight that's the problem Blackberry fans need to complain about this to the company that makes Blackberry now and let them know that a business phone like that has to be water resistant up to a certain amount of water on it and definitely if it splashed on by accident has to be water resistant or waterproof that's the biggest audacity the rat that I have ever seen that if they're making the Blackberry again it's not water resistant and it's not waterproof just letting you know I had people actually bought blackberries and they splashed water on it and they have to send it back and I don't know what happened but basically I hope they got a new one for free but just letting you guys know do not splash water on it make sure you don't Splash dust on it or you don't take it to the sandbox or anything like that because you may wind up with a dead BlackBerry this is something that if it's a business device and if it's made for business people we in the business Community or anyone was in the business Community needs to complain to very possibly very massively to the people who are making blackberry and it should be waterproof and should be water-resistant shock-resistant and dust-resistant it should be military grade standards that was the old blackberry and that should also be the new BlackBerry you're paying a premium price I expect to have a premium product not a piece of garbage product thanks God bless then if I by accident get water sprayed on it or take it to the sandbox by the beach or whatever I will find out that I have a dead BlackBerry that's not what you want especially after you spent so much money on it

even though its been 2 years since this phone came out, people are still surprised at first that there's a keyboard on my phone and secondly that blackberry is still making phones. Probably the best phone for starting conversations
I don't buy phones when they are launched. I buy when they are at-least an year old. Bought a brand new KeyOne in 2019 for $230. Awesome phone for the price. Absolutely no regrets. It's camera performance is a bonus.
It was this review that convinced me to buy one of these, in 2019. For those wondering, It holds up great.
Would guys(as average joes or as business users) buy a modern Blackberry smartphone or a Galaxy Note. I would rather get a note since it is overall a great phone, gets many things right and the s pen just does so much imo(at least from some of the vids I watched on this stylus). planning to get a note 9 this year.
