i have a omen x25f currently but im not really happy with it, in terms ofsnapping from one target to another its not really a smooth transition.. do u think the xl2540 is better in that regard? or maybe the 2540k?

Gahd that monitor looks amazing.. I have a 144hz monitor but it isnt a TN or IPS panel and after using it for hours my eyes start hurting and shit.. I wonder if this monitor would help limit eye strain for hours of use!

To state: I used to play Unreal Tournament for a long time. I don't know compared to 240Hz cause I never tried. But the diffrence from 60hz and 144Hz in aiming is huge. It goes more smooth. The screen looks to move slower and more steady which does improve aim (specially timing based). I also play League of Legends. I started on a 144Hz. I dropped back to 60Hz (monitor was broken). Do I notice a skill diffrence. YES! It is way more difficult to "kite" or make a good play. On 144Hz it feels much more easy and natural to do so. I do not think from 144Hz to 240Hz is that much of a gap as 60Hz to 144Hz but I can be wrong.
2 years later and i still think thats the best monitor in the market.
XL2540 seems to support G-sync and Freesync, no DyAC (Dynamic Accuracy) XL2546 seems to do away with both G-Sync and Freesync, with DyAC. According to blurbusters both g-sync and freesync adds slight input lag.

Well there is something called human performance per frame which is nearly static regardless of how many frames you see so yes 240Hz does make you better
you are reffering to quake here. In other games like Rainbow six siege a jump to 240Hz can really help as you can see more information while doing fast turns. On quake there is way less going on on the screen. The map doesnt change and the enemies are very obvious to see. In shooters like rainbow there can be pixels who make the difference where the 240Hz screens are a god sent
