hey, i just got this monitor and do i need a active adapter for the monitor to have 144HZ? or i just need a dvi-d dual link cable and plug it into my gpu and it will show the option or not? ( gpu i have : EVGA 1060 6gb acx 3.0 )

This monitor is only for gaming, it is fast, that is true. It should not be used for anything else as picture quality is abysmal.

Dude, I use this same monitor in 2021 and I've change my PC, I've got a 2080 TI with Displayport only. So I've just buy a DVI to Displayport to get 144hz but i can't get it. Do u have a solution plz ?

Hey man, so i have a msi katana gf66 3070 which when i first bought it was perfomring really well had 300+ fps in valorant and stuff so i got a 240hz monitor now after a year having the laptop the performance gradually decreased now i am maxing at 200-250 fps further goes down to even 150 fps which is sad so with 240 hz i feel like i got robbed off. its either i need to get a new setup or get a 144hz monitor idk its just sad :(
