Is this 360hz ?
Thank you very much for such a concise and clear review!
How about the BenQ SW271 is it worth the higher price? Im considering the PD2700U or the SW271 for photography editing...
Anyone with this monitor experience any temporary burn-ins? When I have a static image for more than 10 minutes, it burns in and then disappears after 2 minutes. The burn-in is visible when you switched to a slightly dark gray background. I still think it's a great monitor. Very bright and produce great colors and saturation.
"Benq sent me this monitor" = they paid you, "all my thoughts and opinions are my own". WTF is that supposed to mean?
DO NOT purchase BenQ! One of my PD2700U's (I purchased 3) died after 30 days and BenQ wont cover it...Absolutely terrible customer service!

is the hz affected when connected to a macbook?
Will mac mini m1 connect with it?
Thank you very much, Sir.
Hello!I bought this monitor, which generally is good, but heres one issue: the horizontal edges (next to the bezels) look blurry. The only way to correct things was by reducing the horizontal resolution from 3840 to 3802 (Nvidia menu), but that also drops the bit rate from 10-bit to 8-bit.
Great review, is it m1 mac mini compatible?
Did you have any scaling issues? Trying to decided between this monitor and BenQs 25 inch 2k monitor!
Ive had 2 now, sent back the 1st one and both have been making a clicking noise. Have any ideas as to what is causing it?
Still the monitor to buy in 2020? Especially with M1 Mac Mini?
Hey man, at 1:36 you mention the monitor has a DisplayPort 1.2 when the website states is 1.4. Can you correct if wrong or clarify why you said 1.2 ? This would be a deal breaker for me because DP 1.2 does not support HDR.Thanks

I don't understand, are the DisplayPort ports just 1.2 ?On the main page it sais 1.4, aswell for the miniDP.In the User Manual, there is again 1.4 "hinted", at page 15 for example (change the setting from 1.4 to 1.1) and on page 51 and 56.https://benqesupport.blob.core.windows.net/esupport/LCD%20MONITOR/UserManual/PD2700U/PD2700U_UM_EN_200605111251.pdfHe says it comes with DP 1.4https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjiXPyZfHxYOn the other side, on the first table here, it shows DP 1.2https://benqesupport.blob.core.windows.net/esupport/LCD%20MONITOR/UserManual/PD2700U/PD2700U_RF_EN_200605111027.pdfHe also sais that DP 1.2 is included...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHGJjkUldFA

Hello @UCQWUam-Ar_XOtoBJG079pvw!I'm planning to buy this monitor in december, and I saw that it also features AMD FreeSync Technology on this site: https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/f9d915e7.I couldn't find this information on the BenQ official site. So, my question to you is: Is it true that is FreeSync compatible? Thanks!
I am surprised how you can edit color with that amount of color in your room/background image.
Can I ask what is the height of the screen but not including the bezel? It would really help me out because I'm trying to compare with my current monitor. Great review by the way!
I've seen some reviews while researching this monitor that mentioned heavy light bleed around the edges of the screen, negatively impacting pure blacks. Do you have any experience with that happening?
Bro will this monitor support In ps5 and Xbox series x

hey @3:21, we clearly see some bezels, so im a bit confused, because i thought at the beginning of the video you said the bezels were almost invisible... are there or are there not bezels? thanks
He is good for photo edit? Good colours?
@VerticDesigna, what is the piece on the bottom center of the screen? looks like a IR sensor?
I always hear that in 27 inches the 4k resolution ins't apreciable form oour eyes. In fact, many people says that in 27inches 2k looks quite better than 4K.So, I was wonder if this PD2700Q is really better than the PD2700U?
Hi this is Deepak from India I have gh5 and 25mm 1.4 lens lumix i want to buy MONITOR for colour grading benq pd2700u is that ok for colour grading
I am quite confused with the color modes. Which color mode do you recommend for photo editing that will be displayed mostly digitally on web or other media?
DO NOT purchase BenQ! One of my PD2700U's (I purchased 3) died after 30 days and BenQ wont cover it...Absolutely terrible customer service!
Muito obrigado, Hugo Guerra, pela excelente review deste monitor.
Hello I have been doing research for monitors for awhile now... Does this monitor have a high range of AdobeRGB a long with all of the other color ranges? If so how much and are there any other monitors around this price similar or better than this one that are being sold by BenQ with a focus on color accuracy? I want the monitor for photo editing, animation, and video editing with a focus on photo editing.
8:15 *DOOM*
The price has dropped to $499 in 2021 Has monitor technology plateaued and is this still a good buy.
Best review of this monitor I've seen yet and I have been through *many*
Hi, i just bought this amazing screen, but i Have some issues... 1* I only can change brightness and sharpness, all the other picture settings I can't change, how come? I use hdmi from laptop to Benq screen. 2* If i look to my settings on my laptop ans screen information: it only use 8 bit and nit 10 bit ? why3* I want to activate HDR in my settings on my laptop , I want to use hdr on my extern Benq screen beceause it has HDR but on my laptop i cant change it.I'm a little dissepointed beacuease those 3 issues are really inportant ones. maybe i do somthing wrong. please HelpGreetz
OMFG, I just hooked up a pair of these to my newly-built system and I LOVE em! I bought the original 24" 120Hz ages ago when it first came out--at the time, the first 120 on the market--and it was a solid, great-looking all-rounder. For the last decade or so, I've been on Dell screens, but my recent purchase of Dell's 49" UltraSharp kind of let me down, so I returned to BenQ, and damn! ...these screens are fantastic. Very good color right out of the box. Tremendous value! The change in resolution was a little awkward at first, but now that I'm used to it, the advantages are obvious, and I have no desire to go back. One question: the manual doesn't really mention anything about the little protrusion in the middle of the bottom bezel...a set of indicator lights, I'm assuming. {?} Thanks for the review.UPDATE: Oops....I was reading the wrong manual, the one for the software, not the monitor itself. The correct manual goes into great detail about the unit, including the "light sensor" I was wondering about.
Amazing and trusted review. Thank you very much, Sir.
Hello!I bought this monitor, which generally is good, but heres one issue: the horizontal edges (next to the bezels) look blurry. The only way to correct things was by reducing the horizontal resolution from 3840 to 3802 (Nvidia menu), but that also drops the bit rate from 10-bit to 8-bit.Does anyone else have this issue?
Is this good for gaming?
8:36 Brightness uniformity! Although a uniformity correction circuit is not advertised for the model PD2700U, both by my bare eyes and by my measurement with Datacolor SpyderX Pro, I believe that PD2700U has a uniformity correction feature. Strangely, sRGB mode engages uniformity correction, and other picture modes do not.Is it by design that only sRGB mode among many picture modes engages uniformity correction in PD2700U? Or is the PD2700U I purchased defective in terms of uniformity correction feature?Measurement result is below. I double checked uniformity of Low Blue modes in a completely dark room, and the percentage result is almost the same.Picture mode: right lower corner brightness in percentage referenced to center brightness (center brightness)sRGB: 105.5% (127)Low Blue Multimedia: 77.9% (181)Low Blue Web Surfing: 78.5% (173)Low Blue Office: 76.8% (155)Low Blue Reading: 76.5% (132)
Great review, really helped me to choose that screen, and I'm very satisfied, Please your advice, I'm a photographer too. I wonder what is the best way to work with the screen options that will fit to my photo editing and sometimes watching 4k movies.windows offer an option to set it to HDR but then I can't change the screen mode. thanks.
Thank you very much, Sir. You have helped me in buying.
Can I ask what is the height of the screen not including the bezel? Thankyou so much.
Brightness and white uniformity of my PD2700U is quite good at sRGB mode, but not good at any of the four low blue light mode. However, such a non-uniformity is what we expect at this price.
Hello Hugo Guerra @Hugo's Desk!I'm planning to buy this monitor in december, and I saw that it also features AMD FreeSync Technology on this site: https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/f9d915e7.I couldn't find this information on the BenQ official site. So, my question to you is: Is it true that is FreeSync compatible? Thanks!
8:11 Uniformiity. The one I received is not as good as the one in the video, though not bad for the price.
is it true 10 bit or 8 bit + frc ?
