Hi everyone guys! I have some questions for people owning this monitor as I do. 1) Does any of you use a calibrator? does it work well with it? I found some comments about not having a hardware calibration and having a software calibration instead. 2) without using a calibrator, what is the best set up for you? I use the User mode and set red 99 green 100 blue 98 and gamma to 3 3) why when I do change gamma it changes also the coulours? Thanks to everyone for replying. Hugs!
I use it only for gaming, not every gamer plays competitve shooters man, I rather have nice and bright colors!
Are the bezels on this QHDb bigger than the 27 UHD model? It looks like that in the photos and BenQ seems to not list it clearly (main picture on Amazon has thick bezels but all the other images talking about the features show a thin bezel display) Kinda shady of them to do that Edit: just saw you called out the thick bezels. Guess my search continues. Trying to find these specs and price but with thin bezels :/
Can't get the 2K on a Mac Mini 2014 with hdmi-hdmi cable and mini dp-hdmi cable. Stuck on full HD. Any idea? Forced to 2K with switchresx it's really fuzzy.

When you read text which one looks sharper The PD2700Q or The dell u2719h ? Primarily going to use one for coding & I edit photos for web usage. Which one is a better choice also considering the price difference and what I'm getting.

This is one of the best monitor for designer, photographer and film maker. 2k, 100%srgb make this monitor futureproof for many years ahead. Its still ok for gaming if you play rpg or adventure games. Still playable for shooting or racing games, but you will facing lots of motion blur and some lags. If you are a serious gamer, look for TN panel monitor that have minimum 144hz and 1ms. Its cheaper too than most IPS panel with higher hertz. However, TN panel monitor have less colour accuracy and horrible viewing angle.

Even though I appreciate the walkthrough through the menus I really didn't need to watch the whole specs and features being read since I can find all that on the product page from which you are reading it as well. This has been more a first look than a review, which is a bummer since there are not that many reviews on this monitor online. Except talking briefly about the image you pulled up and testing the mobility you haven't really taken advantage of the fact that you have the monitor in house. There are many things that can be tested on a monitor: build quality, glare, input lag, viewing angles (you didn't now much about the differences in panels, which is a pretty important part, since for example IPS provides better viewing angles and color reproduction as TN). Plus I don't think you have understood the Darkroom, CAD and Animation Modes. Thank you for showing us the menu and for the things you said which I couldn't find on the product page, however I would appreciate if you went a bit more in depth with these, at least when you want to call it a review.

Great video Rohit this comes with a mini-dp to dp cable right , can the mini-dp side be connected to macbookpro (mid 2012) and the other end(dp) side be connected to the monitor and will it work, is the cable bidirectional(support's both ways ) cause the manual mentioned in it says the mini-dp side of cable should be connected to the monitor and the other(dp side) should be connected to computer/laptop . the adaptor's are very costly like 2000/- for mini-dp conversions so iam asking you this
Hi good review. I'm not a fan of thick bezels, it's so much outdated. I'm a wildlife photographer. Can you suggest any other QHD monitor for photo editing and general purpose. I don't game at all. 24 or 27 inch around 20k thin bezels, I want to connect to a 720p HP laptop. Thanks in advance.
