BenQ EW2775ZH have better colors? I bought myself an Acer ET271bi and I am a frustrated glow effet. And now I want to change it to BenQ EW2775ZH or GW2760HS. I want the colors were no worse than on my PLS monitor. Plz help with the choice, friend.
Awesome review. Wasn't actually interested in this monitor, but your review helped me see and learn basic concepts. Thank you very much. But still some subtitles would be useful, not all of us are native speakers and your accent is a little exotic :)
Roland..Roland, be a good boy, just stay for the subject of the monitor..
hi man, I love your reviews. one question, I currently use a 27" monitor mainly for office work, and always wonder if switching to a 24" monitor can help me focus more and reduce pressure. I sit around 50cm away from monitor and 8+ hours a day. Thanks a lot!!
I have a sudden urge to go to seven 11
Thanks for review dude.
I'm still rocking this monitor in 2018. great screen for the price. To me , the contrast of VA panels adds a depth unnatainable by IPS. It has really good input lag , better than most newer monitors I've tried , and decent pixel response for a 60hz screen. use it at least half movies, half gaming ( MMO's and ETA mainly)
My ears is bleeding!!!
Is there an exact version of this but without the speakers?
Hi, Great video. Very helpful for me. How dim the monitor can be with the brightness setting to 0? Can the back-light totally turn off like Apple Thunderbolt Display or iPhone? FYI, I have an Acer monitor which the lowest brightness still too bright for me. Can you recommend any monitor with low brightness?
Best 60hz monitor i have owned. Perfect colours and quality. Thank me later.
came for the monitor... stayed for that smooth exotic voice.
Hey can we OC it to 70-80hz ? Please help ty
Very useful review thanks for it, you help me make a decision, which i am trying to make form one week :)
what are the hertz on this monitor
+vmreviews im confused with BenQ GW2470H 24 inch which is 10 dollar more than 21.5 inch Dell S2216H which IS BEZEL less Qus- Did thin Bezels really matter ? i find Bezel less Dell more beautiful when BenQ but BenQ is more bigger in Inch.
BenQ EW2775ZH Is great Better option than this !. which is same price have Thin Invisible Bezel. or invest little 30 bucks & buy samsung 27 Curved Monitor
possible to use a monitor mount for this?
im going to buy 3 of these. time to swap my old 2x lg W2243S and one lg d2342... these old screens are dying they turned piss yellow and one have cctf burned up ;p
"bank" hahahah It is pronounced "Ben" "Que" good review though
Very good!!!
Thank you for your review.
Thanks !
This monitor for office and programming? Is screen to big for 1080p, maybe text will be blured?
you sold me - i'm buying it
Is there an exact version of this but without the speakers?
hi freddie roach
Got this monitor for trading setup. 3 of them. it is quite good. the colors and picture do not look so good once you have witnessed a 144hz monitor i have another benq 32inch model for that too. reason for buying benq over a samsung or lg is the benq ones are in budget and does nt burn a hoe in your pocket while giviing relatively similar experience for a much lesser price. i would say it is good for most who are not into professional gaming mode or something heavy video editing.
Just wanna say nice review man. Got this monitor today and im quite picky to say the least. Ive been on the quest for a proper monitor I can game and edit photos with. Ive had tn and its way too washed out and doesnt have accurate colours and also had the trending ips which I feel is over saturated eye straining. Overall for a 27inch its one is if not the best image quality and colors for a 1080p because the underrated VA panel is truely superior imo. Thank me later On a side note I prefer 1080p than 1440p because it magnifies everything and without distortion if u get a quality panel/monitor. Bigger pixel ratio doesnt always mean better for everyone. TLDR; Prioritize monitors with a VA panel over anything else. Soothing for the eyes. No cons.
buddy does the monitor lag and is it good for gaming??
Been using this monitor for 2yrs 2mth now, pretty happy with my choice :) If Ur looking for budget monitor, This is Da ONE..!!
That mustache though...looks like ass hairs glued to an upper lip.
What should i set the rgb to for gaming?
im going to buy 3x of this monitor... time to swap my old 2x lg w2243s and one lg D2342. I seen this gw2760hs in shop... and damn it looks way better than the damn old lg i have xD
He reminds me of one of those American Idol contestants that would do an epically bad audition and then the judges would just stare at him until he walks out in shame.
$500? its $178 on amazon xD
Hello my friend. I just bought this monitor :) what are the best picture settings for gaming?
dude, start going to gym, loose your belly, cut off that gay mustache and get a girlfriend lol... other than that... great review, thanks. now i know i have to buy this monitor... peace... lmfao
Warranty vag
I'm interested how you managed to boost this to 80hz refresh rate? Can't seem to go over 73hz myself, at least with HDMI and w/o third party programs (just through nvidia control panel). Stuck with this monitor for a while and trying to get more out of it by some tweaking.
Bad gray in games on *VA panel? Small gray details are smudged when moving. This is a feature of VA matrices. Slow transition pixel of the matrix VA from gray to gray color.
10:00 All VA monitors tend to (or will) behave like this?
This review actually makes me feel better about my ultrawide VA. It's doesn't have blurry text at all. Also you really BTFO every single other monitor rewiever. I really hope you get more subs! A shame you hate VAs though. I'd say the contrast is well worth it
VA is my least favourite monitor type (though it's fine for TVs). I use my PC to game and I also use it for text work. The nonsense with how the sub pixels light up coupled with the horrible smearing when you scroll a block of text even just on a web page just makes them terrible to me. I can't believe people buy them. I'll take a TN any day of the week over these things.
I really like your monitor reviews. All that matters is performance and picture quality. The way you dig into this is the way monitor reviews should be done.
Damn really good review, i just returned my first VA panel "samsung C27GR50 240 hz", that + this review mentioning some issues i faced convinced me that i wont try va panel again any time soon.
Are you going to review a LG 27GL850-B in the future?
Really like your monitor reviews, hope at some point you do one of the ViewSonic ELITE XG270QG
Hi - I was just wondering, which star map did you use in your test? ?
I want to know what do you have for a gaming monitor and I'm buying that.
Do you use a colorimeter, or a spectrophotometer? In case you are using a spectro, it would be good if you could upload to the colorimeter corrections open database a .ccss file made with DisplayCAL (or ArgyllCMS), so people with a colorimeter could make high precision measurements of their display using this file as a reference correction.
So far, I have really enjoyed your reviews of monitors. I have spent the last week trying to figure out the differences between different monitors on the market current, and in under an hour you gave me a better understanding of VA vs TN vs IPS than everybody else online. Keep it up! Hopefully you can get your hands on some newer monitors soon.
