so a big reason we us headphone jack on a monitor is for when you use a console on it mainly for fighitng game tournaments. well thast what ive used it for at least
the audio jack allows you to have less cables from the computer unto the desk in case you have speakers, or if the computer is far away, or at floor level, you can just plug in your headphones to it. It actually makes a lot of sense.

As a recent new BenQ user ( 3 x 27" 4k monitors ), I can say that BenQ DOES NOT stand behind their products. I suggest people look elsewhere.
They call it a headphone port, but it doesn't have to be only for headphones. I use the audio output port on my monitor to plug into my external speakers. This is beneficial because I have two different computers connected to the same monitor so audio from both can go to the speakers over one cable.
they should make one with their original minimal design, this one looks ugly for my taste

it's 2017's model. there many others late 2020's monitor like ASUS VY279HE says eye care+ on this price range or cheaper. Should I buy this old technology while my consideration is EyeCare. I have to use Computer for over 8+ hours a day, and my eyesight become poor day by day. need your suggestion.

Te quiero hacer una consulta e comprado el monitor y tengo dudas, es realmente el panel IPS, lo busque por todos lados en la caja en la parte de atrs y en ningn lugar dice IPS. Este monitor se fabric con otro tipo de panel? Y lo otro un montn de opciones estn deshabilitadas no me deja nada de eyecare o color. Y Vi en otros vdeos que tiene la opcin de hdr off pero el mo no, tiene que ver el cable que uso HDMI o DP gracias.

Excelente Review del monitor. Al da de hoy no tengo uno, pero es una opcin viable para los que no tenemos conocimiento del tema, creo que me encantara que sigas tocando este tema, sobre ms opciones y quiz en cierto punto hagas un "versus" para que nos des un punto de vista objetivo sobre las opciones que podemos tener de marcas y calidad/precio. No se puede sacrificar precio si quieres calidad, pero es real que a veces podemos encontrar marcas que no tienen tanto renombre y ofrecen una calidad que no le envidia a otros productos que tienen precios por los cielos y al final, podramos haber elegido algo ms econmico con funciones similares que solo es por tener un producto "de tal o X marca".P.D.: No apareci el enlace de compra en la descripcin del vdeo.

i have noticed that when using the game and cinema HDRi functions, the screen automatically dims in brightness and there isn't any way of maintaining static brightness levels. Is this something that can be done?
