Are you related to the church lady?
Benq is the best...👍
Atrocious vertical banding on mine and others
Any comments for colorgrading? The specs says it hast a 10bit color reproduction ! :D Anyone has some experience?
OMG, you talk faster than my mother in law !
4 years later. Is the anything similar to this monitor in 2018?
Just got one for free :) with out stand tho, but it doesn’t matter as it’s going up on our wall 😄👏
Did Eminem just review a computer monitor?
THIS THING SOUNDS BETTER THEN SLICED BREAD
Is this good for gaming.?
8-bit color output, as well.
My eyes thank me every night for buying this monitor.
I have a choice ultra wide monitor or a regular 4k monitor whitch should i chose i am a gamer bty thanks
is it really that good at viewing angles? i mean, does it gray out in the corners when you sit in a hand reach distance?
Can anyone point me in the right direction of a wall mount that will fit this monitor? Not having much luck? (UK website if possible)
So would this be a good monitor for video editing in the Adobe cloud or would I need to lean towards something that is more Adobe RGB accurate, as this is only Adobe 79% RGB?
Linus, can you talk about FRC and how it does or does not cause eye strain? I am going through monitors and I feel that I can tell a difference. Prove to me that I am crazy.
Can you compare the BenQ3200PT to the ASUS PB328Q? I think they share the same LCD panel (M320DVN01.0 from AU Optronics)
I needed some advice. This monitor looks nice, but I'm looking for a monitor with good color accuracy. I'm not a gamer at all. I use more apps like photoshop, graphic design stuff. I need colors to look the same when printed. I also saw a new monitor by LG 27UD69P-W. Confused which to buy. Need wine help here.. Thanks.
Thank you for this video, what do you think, which one is better, this or asus pb328q? I'm thinking to buy 32 inch 2k monitor for gaming :)
you said it was about $800 bit on Amazon it's $400 why is that?
how is it for gaming? i dont care about the 4ms, as i play total war games on my pc and response time doesnt matters for those games, i want to know if games look good on it? i currently use a dell u3011 and now want to upgrade to a better display.
I have it,and it is a very good monitor :)
Hi, I' ve just bought this monitor and looks nice, currently I have it about 3 foot distance from me, what do you think it will be a minimum distance to work comfortable for work office as well as gaming. Thanks.
Where are you getting the 12ms response spec from? Per BenQ's website, this display has a 4ms GTG response.
Hi Joe, thank you for your review which i played many times .. I just picked the PD3200U .. then I found about the other monitors with HDR and Hardware Calibration ...etc.. Hopefully I made the right choice ..and count on your heads up if any tips..
the monitor i want to see, takes up like a quarter of the video size, and you more than a quarter, honestly i wanted to see you operate in it, open some windows, move them around, show your opinion on if its worth it, in that way, besides, the light is on you, not the monitor, lol. im guessing with that your getting low hits, change up your mix a bit, and make some other test vids. :-)
Hi Joey can you help me pls? i bought this monitor for my macpro abd the problem i have is that there are NO DRIVER for osx out there! i would love to make the integrated USB Ports and cardslots wich comes build in to the monitor work with my mac can anyone help ?
Nice video, i like it. Good solid info from the "i used it for months" type review. I do want to say: Almost all video cards in the last couple of generations use the full size display port. In fact video cards with the smaller mini DP macs use are very uncommon, usually only the 4 and 6 port professional video wall cards. My GTX960 has three of the full size ports. Thanks Sir, am happier about ordering the bl3200 myself now :)
Can you make a video teaching us how to have a live view screen on our laptop/PC with that cable? I connected the cable from my 80D, but nothing happens. I'm not sure if i need to install a Canon program, or what. Thank you!
it says it has 4 ms response time in the specifications and you say 12...so what is true?
my mac mini 2014 works fine with Benq gw2765ht with HDMI connectioon (1440p). I think that 3200pt should work with HDMI (1440p), but if it doesn't... i think its because of monitor
wait in pcpartpicker it says its 4ms not 12ms as you said
I just wanted to post a comment on here saying that I bought this monitor and it is by far the best display for me. I ended up getting it for 500$ on amazon and trust me you will not be disappointed with this thing. Unless you're used to 144Hz monitors that is
Have you noticed any flashing or flickering issues while using this monitor ?
I just bought this refurbished at a pretty good price. Great monitor but this one has a small backlight bleed on the top left corner only noticeable on a black background. Also it has a very faint vertical line going down the screen near the left side only noticeable on a white or grey background. I don't know if I should return it and get a brand new one or just live with it, cause it was little over a hundred cheaper than new.
Thanks for the review Joe. Since this is marketed as a CAD and or business monitor, can you show what some programs look like on this big of a screen. Can you read text easily? Perhaps open up a few file managers, a spreadsheet, Outlook, etc., preferrably at the same time, so we can see just how usable this big screen is. I currently use a 27"HP 2560x1440 dual monitor display. Thanks again!
Joe than's for this review....I am looking for a new monitor, but wow that price ....I may not be able to get this for a while ! But it's on my wish list
Ehi Joe thanks for the review, if you're macmini has a thunderbolt you should be able to achieve the full resolution using it as a displayport, given it's not a really early revision and on that i can't be helpful in any way since i don't really know the precise spec of your computer, just an advise, hope i didn't sound rude in any way, cherrs man, great work on the channel
no mentions about viewing angles :(
Thank you for this video, what do you think, which one is better, this or ASUS PB328Q?
Can it be rotated to portait in both directions, or just to the right?
Hello Florian, I bought the monitor and connected to a Mac using the MDP to HDMI the Resolution does not go above 1080P please let me know how to increase the reolution to 1440 i tried with multiple mac and its the same. Please help.
It's a good choice for imac ? the image is same or it has issues.
would this go well with 980 4gb gpu?
Quick question: Can anyone confirm whether or not this is a true 10-bit panel? Most sources suggest it is but some places say it's 8-bit plus FRC.
It's not really important as I don't imagine it will make a huge difference to my workflow (if any), but I'd like to know for sure out of academic interest if nothing else.
Thanks for the review. Im about to get this model but Im not sure if I should research a bit more to see if there is something better. I care more about the 32" and the color quality as I am 3D designer instead of caring about others features like 4K and such. I just dont know if there is something better in the same price range or even if I had to pay some more. The main issue is that monitors easily jumps to 4K on these resolutions nowday and since Im kinda stuck constantly at the screen, I dont want a so high pixel density or Ill loose my sight. What do you think? Should I get this one or you know some others models with similar features (or even better) than this at around the same price (could pay 200$ more if those features are really worth it)? Thanks!
nice review, did you recomend me this motinor for gaming? i dont give shit about g-cymc or 144hz. my gpu is msi 970 4gb sli, and bla bla
I like playing games from the sixth generation consoles. Do you know how composite to HDMI converters play on this screen?
I am very close to getting a BL3200PT.
Will the BL3200PT run at 75 Hz without dropped frames?
Can this be used as a TV?
Stumbled on your review whilst searching for 32" monitors for sim racing and found your review really good, would you recommend this display for gaming on or should I wait awhile for other monitors in this size to come to market. I'm planning on a gtx980ti to run the triples.
Many thanks ;)
I'm looking for a 32" 1440p monitor, that I can play games with. I am not a huge gamer, but when I do, I want to be sure the ghosting effect is tolerable. Can you confirm it can be used for gaming?
Great little presentation by the way. :-)
Yes. Both are correct. But you have to understand what each means. The contrast number given by the spec sheet can be achieved with maximum brightness settings. If you are calibrating the display to a luminance of 140, then you are limiting the max brightness I.e. 140. Now if you would have a luminance of 0.14cd/m2 on a black image and 140 on a white then you'd have a contrast ratio of 1000:1 ;)
please comparision. s32d850t
Excellent video. Couldn't remember how to disassemble the base on mine, ha ha. (Packing for an impending move.)
hows gaming on it?
I got this monitor is very good :D
