Costco has the Powerbeats 3 for $75 right now (June 2020). At $150-$200 that’s a ripoff, even when they first came out. I honestly think $75 is high considering there are plenty of VERY comparable headphones that look alike and sound as good for $250-$40 on Amazon. Apple and Costco are still making a profit at $75, that just goes to show you what a ripoff $150-$200 was. They don’t cost any less to make now. Check out Anker, TaoTronics, and other small manufacturers with strong positive reviews on Amazon. You’ll be just as happy. PS: I own the Powerbeats 3, Airpods, AirPods Pro, Beats X, and about 20+ other headphones. My favorite all around are the original Airpods, the Pros are too big/heavy in my ears, but the noise canceling is amazing. I really like the Beats X too, but most for around the house, or in an Airplane, or on a treadmill/bike. The Beats X have great battery life, are small, light weight, great sound, very good passive noise cancelling, but they can’t beat the original Airpods for small size and pocketability. The powerbeats 3 would be good for running, jumping, etc. The Beats X would bounce around too much.
Costco has these for $80 are they worth it

The only issue that i have for these head phones is the microphone i bought 2 and the microphone always sounds bad after 6months to a year. but the sound quality bass is better than the powerbeats pro and its louder. powerbeats pro isnt has loud and the bass sucks

Watching this review to decide if I want another pair, I'm experiencing big time problems with Bluetooth volume problems. It keeps dropping volume, skipping songs, activitating Siri, etc etc. I will tell you that I have absolutely beat the crap out of these in the gym, on runs, and all weather dog walks. They're on sale for $80 at CostCo so I may just go again with them bc of sale price and the fact that I now have a home gym and need them less for gym time. Got a bluetooth speaker

I got my power beats on sale for 80 bucks at Costco
Took these camping this weekend in 94° weather sweated so much first time they went out on me from actual sweat. They have gone out 2x from getting caught in the rain and even then it was just a light rain both times my main problem with them is if you are not actively wearing them letting them hang on your neck the charge port defaults to facing up so the water/sweat drops right in the port.
My Power Beats 2 Wireless were amazing! I just got a set of black Power Beats 3 Wireless off eBay for $25! Very excited to check them out in the studio and then outside.

Really enjoyed mine, until I “temporarily misplaced” them The one issue I had was that the seam on the over ear pieces split open and the stiff metal part inside always popped out through the seam. I wasn’t overly impressed as they were no longer under warranty. Managed to fix them up DIY style and they still worked fine

I've had these headphones since December of 2016, loved them, and was sad when they finally kicked the bucket on me this week. They've seen some real abuse, as I am someone who is not easy on electronics. I go to the gym or go running 4-5 times a week, and drench them in sweat when I do. They've never had a problem with being wet, no shorts or electronic issues at all. They've also been my go to when snowboarding, although they are a little snug inside my helmet, but not uncomfortably so. Great for travel as they do a fantastic job of blocking out the ambient rumblings of planes, buses and subways. What finally killed the beast was wear and tear, the rubber housing around the metal rod connecting the earclip to the base unit just wore through on the left ear. After 2 years on, the battery was still doing well, with charges holding about 12 hours. I usually could go a week between charges. When the battery got around to 20% you'd notice some connectivity issues start to arise with the bluetooth and it would begin cutting out. No latency issues, as when i used them for traveling i would occasionally watch youtube, netflix or apple movies videos on my phone and Surface pro 4. The sound quality hasn't degraded over time either, which is great. The most annoying thing about these headphones, is the ease by which the rubber earbuds came off. At least once a week i would remove them from their rubber case and have to dig the earbud out, or pick it up off the floor. As the audio still works, I tried to use them as workout buds without the earclip; this did not work, as the earbud would not stay in with even moderately strenuous movement. Gonna call beats today about a replacement pair, or turning them in for money off on a new headphone set. If that doesn't work I'll retire them to a travel or work set of headphones, and buy a new workout pair soon.
