Wow! that foundation is somethin!
Did she say her shade
Beautiful! Love the look. I picked up my first BM power foundation today :)
I love women’s freckles..it’s like one reason why I think white women are very beautiful...(all women are beautiful) it’s like a black woman covering up her moles. I’m light skinned mixed with French and black. My grandpa is French...So I have very olive, golden, skin....you can see all of my blemishes...I have moles, scars, acne, pores...aha! So I can why she covered up her freckles...I’m gonna cover up my pores, moles, scars, acne etc. I’m a straight guy who is into make up. I ordered 100 bucks of make up. Excited for it to get here! Just the no make up look very light coverage on certain occasions...I’m also treating my skin at the same time too with the basic ingredients such as 30% salicylic acid, lactic acid 80% glycolic acid, benzoyl. ,y make up should last a long time. I’m gonna keep these makes on my face while wearing make up too...I ordered bareminerals foundation too. I have oily skin, acne prone skin, and read this helps acne...as well as non cakey, and not as noticeable unless you over apply...
BM is a little pricey for me so I've been looking into it before deciding whether or not to buy any of it. I've been finding a lot of frustrated reviews about the veil one being changed. The translucent one not be colorless anymore and the tinted one of being really orange now.
This makes me leary. You may not be willing to comment on the and I understand. But if you are willing can you address this before I spend any money on it?
Tati has said that she worked for Bare Minerals, as well.
Wonderful video, thank you! What shade did you use ?
Question on the hydrating mineral veil, has it caused any kind of orange hint to your skin? I haven't used this but reviews are saying it turned their skin orange.
I forgot how much I love b.m. Foundation!!!! Ordered a new set bc it comes with that gorgeous brush! Tfs ur skin looks freaking amazing!!!!!!!
Love bare minerals and the bronze mineral veil it gorgeous
Can you do a Matte vs. Original comparison? I can't seem to find many reviews of the Matte BM Foundation, and the bismuth in the Original makes my skin sad :(
2020 still the best foundation ❤
This is the fourth tine I’ve watched your amazing video. I’m just going to ask you: how long do you have to buff the foundation?
I have been using Bare Minerals makeup and their skin care line for 25 years,I wouldn't use anything else, I am 74 years old, you are a beautiful young lady,I am so glad I subscribed!!!
Absolutely Beautiful Shelbey! I only Use BM! I Love, Love, Love It! Buffing IS the key as You said! I have to tell You that my Son's name is Shelby! Shelby Myles Louis. I just found Your Videos and I am enjoying each one! I'm a new Subscriber! I've been using BM since it first came out. It makes you look absolutely beautiful and naturally flawless! If you ask Me, Younger too!
Is there a filter on the final look?? This is so flawless I am shook 😱
Perfection. I use bareminerals also but I only use the foundation not all the other (including a primer or setting spray) but this video makes me want to try it all! Also those brushes 🤩
I love bare minerals foundation. You look beautiful!
Taking this video to bareminerals store and telling them "make my skin look like hers!"🤣❤ thank you!!!
FYI- a 2020 UPDATE is now live for this powder! Check it out here: https://youtu.be/PqyK-Dw0_No 💜💜💜
You look kinda like female version of Anthony Edward.
Thank you for the video!
What is the purpose of this product? Is it like a setting thingy?
Great video 💜💚💖💛💙
what "clean" setting powder would you recommend for no flashback??
Loved this one-concise, sets an overall reason for being, & as always, informative.
I get full coverage with mine just fine. You have to moisturize enough & make sure you buff it the right way. I don't get nearly as many break outs on my face w/mineral powders like I do with all that liquid crap full of silicones.
I use a large kabuki stippling brush to buff on my dry skin and it works brilliantly to deposit the product evenly without looking cakey and dry. All I have on underneath is moisturizer- no primer needed imo. Then I put cream or liquid products on top and it always gives the most beautiful natural but full coverage look (I didn't think it was possible but it does).
PLEASE help me! :-) i finally found a color that matches me and i can t seem to make this original powder work.. i 'buff' it in but i always get spots where the product is GONE because of the buffing so it kinda looks like i have patches or scuffs' where there is no powder... i can t seem to get this even.. i tried it over my Skinnies spf and i tried it over my Ordinary moisturiser.. nothing seems to make it blend in.. ANY help?? thank you ;-)
Love your eyeshadow. What are you wearing?
I think you’re wearing the wrong shade, honestly. Maybe more of a medium shade. Much love.
I feel like all the buffing needed for application, can’t be good for dry skin.
Sorry I’m late on this, but I think I can get BM to be medium to full if I spend a ton of time blending (aka special occasions). My skin looks terrible but BM is probably the best overall foundation for me. Not sure what my skin type is though. Anyway thanks for the review, love your channel
I actually think this looks really pretty on you
Okay, it seriously looks like there’s zero coverage. Pass.
I have been wearing bareMinerals original foundation for over 20 years. Are use only original products except for my concealer. My recommendation is anything that you’re going to conceal with the liquid concealer do it last because powder products tend to want to grab onto that also if you have dry skin make sure you moisturize and prime before I have oily so I just use moisturizer that’s late and make sure it’s dry before I apply my foundation my recommendation is anything that you’re going to conceal with a liquid concealer do it last because powder products tend to want to grab onto that. If you have dry skin make sure you moisturize and prime before . I have oily so I just use moisturizer that’s light and make sure it’s dry before I apply my foundation . I use an It kabuki brush to apply my foundation it seems to give me more even coverage ,but the one that you’re using I do use that if I feel like I need more coverage. I know that Shelby has a channel where she shows it more full coverage but I like light coverage foundation so you might check her out and she can show you how best to get a more full coverage look😊
This foundation is PHENOMENAL if applied correctly! The more you buff the prettier it is. After your natural oils mix its even prettier. I've been using BM since it was available. I use IT foundation as well as to face born this way. I rotate depending on needs for the day. BM is my go to favorite
You dont have any blemishes so what did you expect it to do?
I use this foundation with Sigma F82 Round kabuki brush. Works way better for me than with Bareminerals brushes.
That's a new brush and received HORRIBLE reviews; there's a fluffier original brush that nice, sheds a bit, but good!
Not only you didn’t applied it correctly, from the beginning, but you buff twice on the jawline only, not on the entire face,, so that you avoided to buff the nose and under the eyes area.
I thought that the brush you are using was for their liquid foundation.
I don’t think anybody is using it as their only sunscreen.
You don’t need to apply concealer first! I wear and love this foundation! You can definitely get very full coverage IF you apply it correctly. I find concealer and cream products melt into the skin lovely over the top.
I use mineral foundations a few years already and they work for me with kabuki brush or flat top. This brush from bare minerals is way to soft and gives no coverage. I ordered it and had to send it back.
your not buffing enough B4 YOU ADD MORE :O YOU USING alot
Hey loved your video, I’ve added it to my blog post on Pinterest!! :)
I absolutely love this product! I’ve been playing with it for about a month now since I started or discovered the very beautiful shelbey Wilson, she worked for bare minerals when she was in college for about 5 years so she def has the know-how about this wonderful foundation. Anyway you be noticed my skin looks so nice! I have the original and I love the finish makes ur skin flawless and it’s like u did some foundation but not, so f that makes sense. I also have had a little rosecia since I turned 50 almost 10 years ago and omg this mineral magic ughhh covers EVERYTHING. On me like a dream!!! Your skin looks fantastic!!!
I use a lot more powder on the brush and buff it in very well
Maybe you should try it with a more hydrating moisturizer or primer so it can melt the powder into ur skin?
Taylor wow the hair pulled back look is gorgeous on you
my first experience with mineral foundation was using sheer cover. i really liked it. i didn't wear makeup every day or need a ton of coverage in my 20s, though. 5 or so years later, when i ran out... it wasn't on the market anymore but bare minerals was, so i tried that. i didn't feel like it came even close to the look or coverage, so i've never bothered with it to this day. i haven't had a lot of success with liquid foundations but i've watched a lot of your vids and have since bought and quite like the jcat aquasurance, thanks! out of curiousity i googled and sheer cover is around again??! i'm tempted to try it again.
please follow my instagram
get this powder
What I will never understand is why people use a mineral product without the brush designed for the product. Youre using the product with brushes that werent designed for it. I love this channel i do, but like..if you're going to review their product use only their stuff, if it doesn't work, then try other brushes. Blahhh.
I know people either love or hate bareminerals. I'm a bareminerals ride or die lol. I would expect, now that the whole fake mask makeup trend is going out that bare minerals makes a come back. It is super difficult for people who aren't used to it. However, even when I use their complexion rescue and their well rested under my eyes I would still say at most its medium coverage. But that's what I've always preferred.
I actually love bare minerals. I think it works the best with their brushes and primers. You really have to swirl it for a good while for it to melt a bit. I haven’t used it in years because I’ve been on a drugstore kick but I really want to buy it again. I think my skin looked the best it’s ever been with that foundation.!
You need to do more research girl. Learn how to conceal and the correct tools.
Make sure you prep your skin with a really thick moisturizer.
Hi. Shelbey Wilson 'Yes It's All Powder.' Published on 9 July, 2019. This video is a tutorial dedicated to applying Bare Minerals Powder Foundation only and step by step. No more comments i promise. Just thought that i could help.
Me again. May i suggest another YouTube Beauty Influencer that i subscribe to? This lady used to work for Bare Minerals and is very familiar with this powder foundation. The influencers name is Shelby Wilson. She made a video giving 5 tips on how to apply this foundstion. The video is called: 'Why Your Powder Foundation Isn't Working.' Published on 16 July, 2018. Good luck.
Hi. I found your video about you explaining how difficult you found it applying the Bare Minerals Powder Foundation. Can i a mere ameteur advise you? Stop using the IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Brush. You need a brush that is firmly packed to buff in this powder foundation. The Tarte Brush for instance is in my opinion the best brush for a loose powder foundation. Or if you find that brush too pricey i am sure that you can find a more affordable brush to use. But remember the brush must have a firmly packed feel to the bristles to work properly.
Taylor, Can u please recommend an affordable foundation that doesn’t make you break out?
