Hi Wayne, I too use BM powders for 20 yrs. The under eye serum concealer would you recommend it for someone over 65 where hydration is a necessity? Thanks for all you do for us
Does it show up fine lines please? Like a drying foundation?
I am a bare minerals ride or die lol. But I agree with other commenters. I'd love to see this on an older person or troubled skin. Because as I age, my biggest con against bareminerals is creasing. I don't want to switch but would like to know what I'm doing wrong
Great tutorial!. Would like to purchase online what shade did you use in the original foundation?
Love Bare Minerals! I have used the original mineral powder forever!
You just gave me so much of encouragement for what kind of make up i am looking for next!! i love the finished look and i love the detail and steps you said throughout the video! i am a bare minerals fan for sure and am using the loose powder, the original make up. thank you for making this video, i really enjoyed it!
Hey 👋 just wondering what you use first to prep the skin, I’m not a fan of the primers I break out but I LOVE this foundation so much and would be interested to know what moisturisers etc you use :) xoxo
I've been using bare minerals for over 6 years🌹
thank you for showing how you apply the blush very helpful
Still binge watching here this morning .... doing my ironing thanks so much for this video
Bare Minerals has been a high quality foundation for years. Love this stuff!!!
Will it work for dry skin? I tried it once and it felt so dry.
Thank you Wayne! I did buy this foundation, and I absolutely love it! I know you have personally been wearing this for ages, and I’ve seen your previous videos about BareMinerals’ foundations, and watched you apply it to yourself. So, I know it works for people more our age as well.😊 This video finally pushed me to try it, because you also showed how to apply it. I had never used a powder foundation, so this was really helpful. I’ve had too many foundation fails recently, and I’m so happy that I’ve found this!
BM is ALL AMAZING
*Shelby Wilson’s channel taught me how to use the Bare Minerals original foundation and I love it. I do wish you had used a model who had some skin issues to cover so people can see what it can do...*
I used Bare Minerals for years and loved it, but found when I hit about 45 and my skin got dry that it didn’t work for me any more. Too drying which emphasized wrinkles. I switched to Nude by Nature, also a mineral powder, and I find it much creamer and gives a better finish on my skin at this age.
makeup is wonderful but...transfer was horrible when it first came out. I stopped using it because of this. Has this problem improved?
I wish I could use bare minerals, it made my face itch.
Definitely going to Ulta this weekend to try it. I remember their informercials. I always pass the display but never ventured over. Now I must try it.
I love that you just went straight into the video without like 3 minutes of intro
Have you used their new original foundation brush?
I thought you were gonna have an accent...but you’re African American it looks like. If so you don’t look like it at all...I was likes he’s gonna have an accent before clicking on the video..l.but no...not at all...
Great foundations!! Only one I use and only the original ..nothing like it
I find something is interacting with my bare minerals. I get a little pilling/broken up look. Do you find certain skincare products that don’t work well??
What brush are you using for the concealer ?
Thank you thank you for getting straight into it. No long intro
What's your MAC foundation shade? ❤️
Love powder foundation the best👍🌴☺
Haha I like your name
So beautiful! great tutorial! ♥️
Wow. I had no idea there was a such thing as loose powder concealer. All these years, I’ve never heard or seen anyone use it.
Obsessed with how this look came out! I’ve been looking into mineral based foundations. Looked through so many reviews and was doubting it due to the way others applied it and seemed to get little to no coverage. Now I know it’s all in the brushes! Love it. Looks beautiful on you. 💕
Found this during quarantine because I wanted to change up my makeup and wear something LIGHTER and easier than liquid. Loved this tutorial. I am a bit weary of using bare minerals because I've heard it isn't great for acne prone skin (Love the complexion rescue, but the actual original foundation). If my color comes back in stock, I will definitely think about purchasing! Xoxo
Hi ! Quick questions, how many times do you wash your brush so that no bacteria builds up ? And can I place liquid or stick contour after or should they also be powder? Thank you !
I’m trying to find my shade imma order it online 🙃
Hey Love, the brush you use in this video is called: Heavenly Luxe™ Airbrush Powder & Bronzer Brush #1 😉 the one in the link is #3
When ever I use a powder foundation and buff it it just catch on the dry area on my face even if I applied cream first
Omg i thought u had makeup on in the beginning of the video 😱 great video thanks!
You seem unhappy
You are so beautiful and your skin looks amazing. Thanks for the tips.
Can anyone help with a person who has dry skin and oily skin? I usually moisturize my skin but it seems like the make up doesn't hold very well when I do.
Been using bare minerals for years. Especially when my skin needs a break from harsh makeup. Came to this video because I wanted to see what other people do with the mineral veil. Thanks for the info.
LOVE your video, love Powder Foundation☺
Awesome coverage. I ordered Matt by accident and i already have dry mature skin. I hope because there's no talk it's not too drying.
Do you remember what eyeshadow you have on here?
Mineral makeup dries me out.. but my forehead is oil slick incurable by every-other method 🤔 I bet i need to be using mineral foundation on my forehead 🤦♀️😄 duh
Seems as though you already had foundation on when you started... hmmm
I keep coming back to bare minerals. I was wondering if there is a better option that works for more mature skin.
Can mineral veil be used as a light coverage foundation?
What Bare minerals would you use when tan? Thanks!
The brush is key, you have to buy a brush like the one she is using. The bare minerals brush is junk and makes the application very difficult.
You’re using wayyyy too much product. You just need a tiny bit and use their Beautiful Finish big brush for application and just buff buff away. The way minerals work they blend in with the oils on your face and turn to cream. You will save tons of money just using like ⅓ of how much you use on this video.
You are very sunny and beautiful girl, thank you for video ♥️
My skin feels dry when I use this...but I love it
Sorry but THIS to THIS is no different!
I don’t really see any difference
very helpful video, thanks for sharing
Took much. Talking
Ok, I’m going to buy this foundation tomorrow. I wore their powder foundation for years and tried to switch. Only to find out ANYTHING else breaks me out horribly. Thank you!
Thanks for the good review. I’m as using revlon matte I forget the exact name and it made me look so cakey. So I found this foundation at tj maxx on clearance for $8 so I got it. And I must say I’m really impressed. I have freckles and they still show but my darkness is covered I agree it looks really good and you look real lol
This one set right innto wrinkles. And its to expencive to that it should be doing that. Other then that, its beutiful.
I just got mine!! I love how it disappears into the skin looks like nothing at all but the skin looks well rested. I did find that using my hands or a beauty blender works best
Your bare face shows you need to ditch makeup. Makeup destroys your natural beauty and you can visibly see the damage it's doing. I got rid of makeup (I do slight enhancements only and occasionally) years ago and never looked back. Best decision I ever made.
I will throw mascara on and lips for a gathering or night outing... maybe shade my eyes. But never foundation!
Your skin looks washed out, yet still very beautiful. Ladies, trust me. Give it seven days and eat blueberries and raspberries, if you can. A handful a day for seven days. You'll love your skin again.
Makeup now... when I see it in women, I look at it as clown makeup. It's degrading us and it's a money and time pit, locking us in cages. It's not liberating. It's not freedom. It's not art. The makeup industry grabbed you while you were young and made you into their slave for the rest of your lives.
SEVEN days. I promise you, you'll see it's worth it!
Is it good for dry sensitive skin.?
doesn't look blotchy, nice natural self setting . nice
I've been using it for 2 years now. It cleared my skin from eczema and its the only one that stays all day!
I’m so sad I tried Burt’s bee and looks beautiful but I’m allergic to honey or beeswax, my skin is so sensitive, was allergic to tarte and fit me by maybelline, they looked so nice but been getting weird reactions from long term of using them 😭 I hope this one works for me
You don’t need foundation! Your skin is beautiful!!
This is what I use and I do love it💕 I have acne prone skin and total combo
I love this foundation but the bottle keeps leaking at the top of the lid
Oh wow that shade is perfect for you, so bad that there is no new videos on youtube about this fondation!
I've been pondering about trying out the liquid foundation. I've been using the original powder foundation and I had issues using the liquid foundation years ago. Is it possible to get a sample size anywhere for me to try instead of buying a full bottle?
ok can someone PLEASE help me out!!!! i am using the bare minerals foundations and i literally love it because it is my skin tone(only one that matches me), it is matte and just really pretty but a problem i get is separation on my cheeks and my pores start becoming visible. i need tips on how to prevent that and maybe some good primers or something. like it’s just that area and i really want it to work because i love it 🥺🥺 someone pleaseeeeee
Bare minerals literally saved my face. 😂 I have super sensitive skin and I can’t wear other makeup besides this brand or vegan makeup. 100% recommend.
I was so so upset when Bare Skin was discontinued ...started using Bare Pro - and actually now I really like it .Its not as beautifully spreadable as the serum , but obviously it isn't a serum. Great coverage and staying power , and I think it actually improves my skin day by day.Question - why do people on this videos use so much of the product on the face - i find that one little pumps worth is more than enough for me , and I have a lot to cover..
I really like this foundation but it oxidizes when I apply blush and contour, is there any specific brand I can use that won’t cause this foundation to oxidize?
Does IT oxidize?
Nice review. You do have lovely skin.☺I wish that ppl who do these reviews wouldn't disappear to finish their faces, after only putting on the foundation. Some of us, maybe a lot of us, would learn something. Not everyone knows how to use setting powder, and apply all those other things you put on besides the foundation. Yes, the color looks good, like you said, but what else did you apply after the BarePro? You do look great, both before and after putting on the makeup👍🏼
