If you actually constantly use this regal 4 on speed 2 or 3 it will give you decent comfort and behave like a DEC'AIR but buy only if DEC'AIR is not available so...yes both fans are good but DEC'AIR has better advantage otherwise these two fans actually ruled the market...they were best sold but due to the decreased quality of bajaj after 2005 people have lost trust over bajaj...good to see that bajaj is finding all possible ways to gain back trust and is revising the quality and everything...but to talk after this video I can easily determine or say clearly that regal and DEC'AIR are far better than other brands like usha,orient and havells in 4 blade segment...so...whatever might be....good to see that bajaj however is coming back on track
They should provide a safety screw, also the motor bolt hole should be in the middle of the shaft.
The local downrod which is available in market will it have safety screw hole?

I love the design of the flat motor four blade Bajaj Regal Gold. The Crompton Dec Air is still available but indeed more difficult to find than the Bajaj Regal Gold. Today's fans, especially those from India, are lighter in weight and have less blade pitch than older fans which makes them spin very fast hence why they have this ability to ''dance'' on high speed. That's what a 5 to 6 kilo ceiling fan does at 330-360 RPMS. I guess what you mean is that on high speed the air is so intense that it also goes on the sides rather than being concentrated only underneath the fan.
Bajaj is junk/worst fan. Crompton is always best and worth the money for poor people.

That's a fan and brand I do like, unfortunately I don't own one of this brand. For me the most interesting thing on fans is to see what is inside and how do they built it. Seriously sometimes I open the fans and they are made of junk. For example...some brands use bearings the same size as skate boards use, rotor and stator very small. They work, yes, but they don't last. The consumer doesn't know what is inside. Anyway fans made in India still maintain a good price/quality.
