In case anyone was unaware (check the numerous comments 😁) AXE IS CALLED AXE IN EUROPE, JUST LYNX IN AUSTRALIA AND THE UK. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.
So I bought this some time ago and it's been my favourite scent since then, but it's just run out and discontinued in Australia.. Any chance you can recommend a comparable higher quality cologne to take its place?

These are fantastic as a body spray when you travel in the UK and Ireland all body spray are 150ml
Axe Gold has been altered from the original. If you had this body spray before you would probably remember the warm oud wood aroma combined with a high quality vanilla bean note. This would rarely last the day and blend with your natural body oder, which my wife actually preferred. The Axe Gold available late 2020 has been dramatically reformulated. It has an emediate, overbearing detergent smell and very little oudwood to be detected. The shape of the canister and spray nozzle is also different.

It’s not bad like u mentioned for 3 bucks. Which now it is 3.99... So it’s leaning a little more niche a year later. 😏 May keep the mosquitos off of you if you’re fishing at night and don’t have any bug spray. Kinda reminds me of wet dock lumber mixed with deet and tobacco spit. So yea. Not bad.
Hmm I know I’m a few years late on this but I’ve just seen this in a supermarket in the UK for £6 / $8 so considerably more than $3!

So... I have this stuff sitting on my shelf since 2017 or so because it was cheap. So today I was just about to go to sleep and smelled Rochas Moustache EdP on my chest and was thinking that I know that smell and after 10min thinking I finally realized. This is the smell, this is similiar af for my nose. And pretty strong
I absolutely love this and I always get compliments from this.
The best part is that somebody asked people on the street whether they liked the smell of this, or Aventus, and it deadass almost tied!!!!

You have to know when to use it, its not meant to impress girls on dates or turn heads at some big fancy event. You wear it for an extra level of freshness after you take a shower and you're about to a local store or something or just anywhere not too important in public where you dont want to use your fancy, million dollar, women hypnotizing cologne.
I always buy 10 cans at a time. 🤷‍♂️ Mix the Brown, Blue and Purple. 👌
I would spray these with a lighter like a flamethrower. The girls loved it.
My girlfriend likes Axe Phoenix, but I only do a slash across from shoulder to hip like a seat belt or a big V in line with my collar bones. People tend to over spray it. But I've been trying to find something like Phoenix, but more mature and clean smelling.

Different women like different type of fragrance DNA. So the axe has an edge by the virtue of being a different scent in general, unless this axe is trying to clone the scent, and clones in general do pretty well for themselves.

As a woman, Axe Dark Temptation smells like f**k me later on tonight, and Creed Aventus smells like marry me right now.
This is ridiculous. It's like comparing a Michelin star restaurant meal to McDonalds. Of course there a people that will prefer the Aventus, but that is beside the point for me. Axe is a cheap deodorant made to please as many people possible and is very fleeting. Aventus is a beautiful long lasting niche fragrance. It says more about what peoples noses are accustomed to, then the quality of Aventus. And I'm no real Aventus fan.
