Textbooks are still really important. The internet and the HTML idea didn't really live up to its hype for education. Wikipedia is probably as good as it gets.

I have a bunch of Hayne's manuals and some other randoms, largely for Japanese cars from the 80s and 90s. Just cool to have the resources since not everything is online. Since 80's/90s cars are my fav, want to have a tidy collection.

I have a Haynes manual for my last car. It was a '98 Subaru Legacy wagon. I wish I could find a Haynes manual for my '18 Crosstrek! They are great.
