I have this mic, maybe it's just me, but it's SO LOUD. And so extremely sensitive. I turn the volume down to 20 of 100 and it's still so sensitive that my singing gets slightly distorted, even if I sing off axis. Any tips? I have a Lenovo pc with Windows 10.
You mentioned zero latency. Does that mean zero delay? When I bought this mic I was under the impression I could listen with no delay, but I've never been able to get rid of the delay. I use Audacity (which is actually suggested by name in the manual). I asked an Audio-Technica rep about the problem. He said that this mic was not really designed for zero delay, but he'd be glad to recommend a higher-priced Audio-Technica mic for that (Yeah, I bet he would). This thing has sat in a box on a shelf because I couldn't find anybody who could help me eliminate the monitor lag. Suggestions?

i have this mic, and mine has extremely loud static everytime i try to record. is there something im missing? is it something about my laptop or wires not being grounded? or should i be in any other place to record? i normally record in my room and i use a usb adaptor to connect to my laptop (macbook) because my laptop doesnt have a usb port so is it also possible that the problem is because i use an adaptor? haha sorry i just rlly need help 😅

Bro ang problema ko sa mic na atr 2500 ko, pag malayo na sa bibig, napakahina na. Audacity at OBS lng gamit ko. Bakit sa mga review na nkikita ko ang lalakas ng sound kht malayo. Kpag ngcocomentate kmi ng mga tekken match, parang ang hina nea. 2lad ng video mo, hndi nman malapit sa bibig pero ang lakas na.
I have this mic and when i record i get like a boxy type of voice. Like when u sing loud u can hear it like its cracking or like clipping but in the master track its not clipping. How to fix this?
