Holler if you are an earbud diehard! We definitely want to hear from you, and we'd love to know why you prefer the form factor.
Earbuds are the most comfy, to me. I bought the Audio Technica ATH-CM707. It is related to this one, minus the titanium housing, and probably some other things. I still love it. Very comfy, good highs, mids, and there is a soundstage. Superb build quality, good wire too. However, as you mentioned, the sub-bass, and especially the bass, is very weak. In the future, I would love to have this type of design, with some bass and sub-bass. Looking at the Venture Electronics Zen 2.0, apparently it has decent bass and sub-bass.
CM2000TI is a treasure headset
Who knows who uses it，
I am an earbud lover. I just bought this, still checking reviews and haven't opened it. Thanks for the review.
try some shozy buds like bk and cygnus
check the vido and put double foams of them if you want warm sounding buds, they are the best for just 2 bucks
I prefer this design. The new one is just hurting my ears... audio technica are life savers 🤣
I cannot tell you how incredibly excited I am to finally find these headphones. I have been looking for something like this for days, well months really. Does it have a mic? Thank you!!!!
Sad waste of , what i imagined, would have been a great dynamic driver in a in ear
I thought this will be cheap lol
would be nuce to see you reviewing the Venture Eletronics ZEN ( VE ZEN ). a lot of people compare these earbuds to actual headphone. cause they sound way too nice.
Nothing more disgusting than earbuds.
earphones (including iem of course) all day long
Earbuds of this style I have never liked them, they don't fit well and there not comfortable for me.
I've been waiting for something like this for a long time. And if Sony sees AT selling lots of these, maybe they'll make new ones with their new signature sound. Until then, from your overview, these sound good for what I need them. Relaxing sound without the hassles IEMs bring with them. Thanks
Yay a longer review!
I just use KSC75s. Anything with clamp aggravates my TMD over time, so I don't use over ears most of the time and find the KSC75s to be the most comfortable design. I would not use iems for hours a day. I'd be interested in an upgrade that has subbass that actually exists but there doesn't seem to be an interest in those kinds of "clip on" headphones by people that can tell that some of the sound is missing. They sound decent enough for most things.
Earbuds are amazing because you can listen to them for longer periods of time. Some Iem can make you feel claustrophobic after around 1 hour of listening.
Is it better than m50x?
For practice guitar it's recommend, or any recommended there??
Stellar review/I don't know i got a big fuckin hed(sic)...
Can you use them to record and also mix?
Do I need amp for them?
Sir, how good is quality when connected to a laptop or mobile?
I've had these headphones for over 5 years now, just have to replace the ear muffs. These things are awesome for the price.
thanks for the honest review mate
When the reviewing the M50s you made very clear you felt a great lack of highs on them. On the M40s you say highs are great! Are they so different after all?
i bought this headset today and the reason i came to this video is to see what the coiled cable is used for because i was super confused but then i had another look and figured out that you can take off the first part of the plug and so you can use the coiled cable instead of that big ass cable that you would use
Just got my M40X today. The cable plug was hard to remove, the lock is weird, will take time to get used to it. It is strange why they made it only one side swivel in this, how much cost would that take? Yet if we wanna put them close to chest we can wear it reverse R to L side. It is amazing however the pleather cups are uncomfortable, Hopefully my ears get used to it and they become soft in time. I'd say if you can spend more money go for DT770 or 880 which is double the price of this. In India i got it for very low (7.5K Rupees) for discounts but we don't have this much discount for Beyerdynamic making it really double the price compared to this. You should write to Audio-Technica requesting them to improve the ear cups like Beyerdynamic, it will be worth it. I didn't buy the Beyerdynamic because of the price but also because I saw in reviews about the harsh sibilance in the highs, my ears are very sensitive, but I would buy them if i get the money for it. I saw no such complain about M40X in all the reviews, they are perfect for budget, studio professional work.
I have bought the m40x today, bloody hell this is a whole different world
These vs dt 770?
I think people might get the "proprietary mount" part wrong. yes it has this mount but there are many brands on amazon that make cable fro this headphone you don't have to buy from ATH
Im about to buy a pair of headphones for music production and amateur mixing/mastering and I have 3 options at the same price in my area:
Beyer dynamics DT990, Audio Technica ATH40X and the AKG 240 Studio, wich one would recomend for the task? It really matters if its open/closed back? I've already have closed back ones for recording, i just want the best sound quality for the money
where is the sound test?
Hello so I just bought it but only one side plays is there a reason why ?
Lately, I have been doing a lot of live stream interviews on Facebook Would you recommend these for this type of work? If not, what would you recommend?
Are they good for gaming?
I watched this video with my Audio-Technica ATH-WS1100iS Solid Bass.
does it connect to two phones at once ?
is it fine to charge it with a wall charger?
That poor microphone is a very big dealbreaker for me! It sounded like you were talking on a 10€ headphones, not 100€ one 🙄
I'm a simple man. I see the master of four elements. I press like.
What can you recommend, when I fall in love with design of SR30BT or Sennheiser HD350BT and need audio jack? From your videos I know that, audio jack have HD450BT, but with ANC and +80$. Is there a cheaper model in 2020 like HD350BT or SR30, but with audiojack? Thank you!
Do they work in game on a laptop??
To anyone who plan to buy these headphones: yes, the battery is EPIC. If you wanna use them with an iPhone to listen to music, the volume is not high enough (It's better with a PC, tho). The sound quality is OK. They are extremely light and comfortable. Very good size and reasonable price
How's the soundstage on these ? I'm coming from basically 'what you get with your smartphone' earphones.
Is there any distortion or buzzing in this headphone?
Neutral sounding means like monitor headphones right?
I am going to buy m20x just bc of that but its also around the same price so I was wondering bc the mire might break if I'm not careful enough and there's no mic on m20x
Sr30bt or anc500bt?????
If we compare the sound quality and features of the SR30BT and the ANC500BT, which would you recommend?
Can we get a micro usb to 3.5mm cable and plug these to our computer? Basically making them wired
Could you get a micro usb to 3.5 mm headphone jack cable and plug it in your computer?
Hey, thats a nice hoodie
Audio-Technica ATH-M40x or thhe sr30? Could you help
No Audi Jack? Not interested. This is very importantto me too, also in smartphones.
Very clear explanation 👍🏻
